      Requirements:

        • Brain
        • Skype
        • Internet Access
        • Proxies
If you would like to protect yourself from DDos attacks or for safety purposes, this should help you out.

      1. In computing, a denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack is an attempt to make a machine or network resource unavailable to its intended users. A DoS attack generally consists of efforts to temporarily or indefinitely interrupt or suspend services of a host connected to the Internet.
      How It Works:

      Now the Step-by-Step:
      • Log onto Skype / Go on Skype
      • Go to the top drop-down that says Skype ---> Click on "Privacy"
      • Once the window opens up click "Advanced" then "Connection"
      Once you're there:

^ Make it look like mine ^
      • Change the port for incoming connections to 40369
      • Enter a proxy (host:port) from the list below
      • Allow direct connections from your contacts only
      PROXY LIST:

If you just wanna keep is simple, VPN's are bae, but depending what the type you use, Teamspeak, Minecraft, Or skype could have connection problems.

If you had any problems using this proxy method let me know and i'll look into it

Thanks for this, it will help a lot of people who tend to give out their skype to others

In no way does this change your real IP if thats what you're getting to.
The port is just part of the proxy. Just ignore it and put it in.

Or just phone up your ISP and receive a Dedicated Router (usually free of charge) which every time you restart your router it switches your port (basically changeing your IP address).

^ This will also resolve any type of attack, not just from Skype.

Keith there's many ways to bypass this but kiddos like u are retarded. And for this to work u need to do it, and then sign into a skype that haven't registered with your actual ip.

I'm not retarded. I've run botnets that could take down the whitehouse.gov site.
