Hi, I im writing this post because i changed my name on minecraft to redblaze123 and on prison i have a plot that belongs to me but i cannot access my plot because it belongs my old name: surfkidz so if a mod or someone could help me get my plot back i would be grateful. All i want is my plot back or change the owner of the plot from surfkidz to redblaze123 Many thanks, Redblaze123
The only way you'll regain access to this plot is when you change your name back, You will also notice that you have to completely restart your mcmmo.
Does you plot have a sign with your old name on it? If yes, are the days currently counting down on it? Some of the plots are on the old plugin and cannot be messed with until they are added to the new plugin. If it is on the new plugin, you will have to get a higher up mod, tin15cro (not even sure he can do it) to get it taken care of) or higher. What will likely have to be done is unrent it with your other name and then re-rent it with your new name. Which would be almost impossible to do because you can only change your name every so often.
I cannot find a plot that has redblaze123 or surfkidz on the sign. If there is a plot, that is on the newest plug-in, there is a way I can help you, you would just have to trust me. Anyone that knows me in Prison can tell you that I am trust worthy and will not scam you. This could be a bit difficult because of our time zone difference. You posted at my 4am, so you are probably on the complete other side of the world, making it a bit difficult to meet up. But I'm willing to try, just to help you out. What we could do to get your your plot back is this: You would have to be the old name to where you could work on the plot. Close the plot up completely to where no one could get in, and then bust all the signs on all the chests. Right before you change your name to the new name, you would unrent the plot, I would rent it for you and hold on to it until the time was up for you to change back to your new name. Once you change your name to the new name, I would unrent the plot and you would immediately rent it. But the only way for this to work is if you are on the newest plot plug-in. If your plot doesn't have a sign at all, or has an old plug-in sign, it will not work. Again, you would have to trust me not to scam you. Feel free to go on Prison and ask people if I am trust worthy. I promise you will not find one that says I'm not trust worthy. If I were to scam you, you could have me banned for it. And I do not want to be banned. Prison is the only place where I play.
I doubt this can be resolved, Most of your player data is linked to your Name Which Means Very Little Can Be Done I believe balance is linked to uuid which is effectively your unique minecraft I'd but the name is what's linked to the plots and signs
