Is it just me? I always found in-game rain to be somewhat soothing but it doesnt rain at all in creative. Just a passing thought that maybe you could bring in the rain. Or possibly a command that only lets it rain on your plot or something. I just really miss it
I guess it would vary depending on someones rig.. I was on a server before i settled on mineverse where it rained in creative and it was awesome but i never really have a lag problem
I don't need the rain but it was good before. The only thing I miss is coming to creative cause of a hacker and crashing server
Support. But for people who lag to rain, I suggest you're able to toggle rain for your player. Like /ptime (day/night) (Makes it day/night only for you.) but /pweather (Rain/clear/storm). Or the players can get optifine and disable weather in their options...
See that would be brilliant. That way a player wouldnt be lagging cause they could just change their settings
I feel like you are the only person on the planet who enjoys minecraft rain. I despise it. No support.
@KayVeeRiot Firstly, I'd like to mention a great site where you can listen to the sound of rain from your browser here: http://www.rainymood.com/ Secondly, I'd like to point out that there are two sides of the argument here: People that like the rain and people who don't, I don't see why something like /pweather rain would be a bad thing because you'd only do it if you WANTED rain but an easier solution is probably just listening to www.rainymood.com.
@UltraFireFX Funny that you say that because I have rainymood already bookmarked. But I just really like Minecrafts rain. Not just the sound
You could try putting the Minecraft rain on loop in Windows Media Player or such or open another Minecraft window on a local world with rain set to a very long duration, if you wanted to see oit then yes, it would have to be server-side.
