Signature Limitations

Is there a limit on how many letters or lines on text in signatures or resolution of images in signatures?

I have not been able to find an answer to this where I would expect to find one.

 

Yes, there is. If you have trouble fitting your signature, convert it to an image and use that.

 

I would like to know the limit on the resolution on images in signature or if there is one at all. This is so that I can make someone a banner that is the appropriate resolution and size.

I don't get the sentence "Your signature has been modified, please read the rules." First of all, the link on the rules bit doesn't even work, and I read the rules and I don't see anything wrong with my signature, it's just some dog love. Lucky I found this signature :3

It's in reference to the thread. What he's saying is that when 'Your signature has been modified, please read the rules' shows up in place of your intended signature, your signature has reached the maximum number of text, which is what this thread is about.

 

I was asking what the limitations were and the thread was basically closed and he brought up a personal issue that should've been asked to someone like staff, he was referring to his signature and not mine or @Flazey's

 

I'd like it if they increased the limit.

 

It was an example that happens it to others. This isn't a personal issue that I have because others have it as well.

 

But no one that was in this thread and this thread wasn't even talking about it! It should've been a new thread or a different thread ALREADY on that topic. This topic is asking what the limit is whereas you were saying:

Which looks like it was directed to a moderator.

Dude, I'm sorry but are you even reading this? What you were talking about isn't related to what this thread is about and by saying that it is with no reasoning is making you sound bad, please, stop.

 

So you're saying that something that I was saying about signatures getting blocked isn't on-topic to a signature thread? Ok.

 

It should've been a thread made by you, talking about signatures being blocked and a bad URL is unique enough to be on it's own thread and not on a thread asking what the limitations actually were, you constantly replying is definitely not to do with this...

 

But if you're talking about signature limitations, then I can say that some signatures are blocked or LIMITED. So really, what I said was on-topic as it was something to do with signatures, and how some are limited.

 

Go to the Xenforo forums to find the limit. All forums who use the Xenforo program have the same limit.
