Hello everyone! Some people know that I am applying for moderator. In that application I went into detail on how honesty is important. I am here to tell you something that has been "eating me alive"... I am just going to say it; before 3 days ago... I was a hacker. Not someone who DDOS's and what not, fly hacks, kill aura, everything. I want to apologize and state that I am now clean of any hack clients seeing as running for such an important rank/experience. Over the last couple of weeks it has come to my attention that moderators are not just helpers, they are role models, clearly I have been no role model. I am decided to stop the hacking and annoying thoughts it gave me, think of my situation in this sense but less intense: Someone who is addicted to drugs can't stop, The thoughts going through my head was "Why SHOULD you stop? You can be the best!" Well, I would rather be the worst player and the most honest then the best but need to hack. This may come as a shocker to some and not really that surprising to others. I am now clean of any hacks and I am willing to prove it... If you feel the need to close my application, please do. I understand my mistake and just wish to start fresh. I hope that you can understand my apology. Sincerely, ~Majestic :(
No problem, it needed to be done and now I feel a lot better being free of hacks and free of that guilt
Thank you for your integrity. We appreciate your coming clean with us. It takes courage to admit a mistake, and even more courage to be willing to face the consequences.
@YRVintage... "courage" this is a video game mate, it doesn't take courage to type something out. Error 404 no courage found.
Seems to me that your only doing this to help your mod app? And there is absolutely no way of knowing you won't hack again even if you claim you have stopped.
Correct, honesty is a very good trait to behold, but being truthful is different. We can take your word for it, but how will we actually know you've stopped? Answer is; we won't.
Unfortunately, in this case. You are actually unable to prove it. I'm not saying that you do still use hacked clients, but there is just no way to prove it. I'll take your word for it though.
No offence but in my opinion you just want people to support you on your mod app and not call you a hacker.
