You only speak English because of British Colonization in the early 1600s. - Metric system seems easier to use :P

Favourite is original british coz they can. American ppl changed it coz they are too lazy to take the effort to write an extra 'u'.

Chances are, I'm missing some people these are who I thought of off the top of my head.

 

It's not laziness at all. It's the fact that when grasping a new language so while doing so, the spelling was altered to be more fluent with their pronunciation of the word, plus their accent.
