Favourite is original british coz they can. American ppl changed it coz they are too lazy to take the effort to write an extra 'u'.
Conclusion: British people are more diligent than US-american people. :lol:

My favorite people would have to be @Notvh, @Mariselle, @bananaman11223, @12323kyle, and @Flazey.
Chances are, I'm missing some people these are who I thought of off the top of my head.

 

It's not laziness at all. It's the fact that when grasping a new language so while doing so, the spelling was altered to be more fluent with their pronunciation of the word, plus their accent.
