Skydiver27's Moderator Application » Preface « Before proceeding to the application, I would just like to tell you guys that I am not a new applicant, I am a former moderator and I am re-applying for this position yet again. To all of the staff and the players especially Noobcrew and CypriotMerks, I deeply apologize for being an unqualified moderator, I let you down and I regret it. I please ask for your tolerance in my application and hopefully consider me back. It's up to you two. Now, on to the application itself. » Moderator Application « How old are you? I am currently 12 years old. Your in-game name: My in-game name is Skydiver27, I don't have any alternate accounts. Click here to see my in-game name history. What timezone are you in? I live in GMT +07.00. What country do you live in? I live in Indonesia, located in South East Asia. What languages do you speak? I speak fluent English, at least to the point that anyone can understand. Not that great, but good enough. I also speak fluent Indonesian language, and I am great at it as Indonesia is where I come from. But I only tend to use it when helping Indonesian players and with others who prefer Indonesian language. Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? Yes. I have Mirillis Action, a recorder that can capture footage well, and I have Sony Vegas Pro 13 to render it out well. I have gyazo and I know how to use it. I have a channel which I upload videos to, and I will upload the videos there. (Unlisted) Why do you think you should become a moderator? I think I should become a moderator as I am: Good at spotting hacks I am really experienced at spotting hacks. I have been encountering hackers since i've started playing on this server, especially the PvP gamemodes. I know the types of hacks such as kill aura / force field, player aimbot, mob aimbot, trigger bot, anti knockback, no slowdown, safe aura, fast mine, speed, spam bot, etc. Most importantly, I know types of hacked clients, including the ghost clients. I admit it, I used to hack on Mineverse but I obviously have stopped and have been studying hacks and how to identify them. Nice I am that type of guy who is not that kind of person who says "ur eZ skid!", "get a life you scrub!", etc. I treat others nicely and I don't critique them with rude compliments and insults. I can even be nice to hackers, but not always, because there are types of hackers who are just extremely rude and there are those who just ignore me. I also have a habit of apologizing, which I also applied in this application. I can also be forgiving as I don't want to be imaged in the 'wrong sight'. I also welcome new players and introduce them to Mineverse. I know I have a bad history with my previous friends & some players, so please guys, forgive me for being rude. I've been trying to change but a few players have just turned be into that potentially rude person. I'll make it up to you any day. Helpful I am really helpful at times. I always goal to help players & friends that are in need of help. I help players who are being insulted and so called 'bullied' in chat. I also help players get away from hackers and record the hacker in the process. I can provide useful information and I can help the server much more if I hopefully get promoted back. I've learnt my lesson and I promise you guys that I will always help you to record hackers for you and for the community. Active I go on the server often but it's been a problem for me as I have issues of connecting. Usually, no moderators are on when I come on. I know the timezone problem, and that is why I am re-applying for this position. I want to help the players who are on in times when no moderators are on, or players in my timezone or close. Trusted I am trusted by most of the players of Mineverse. I don't, never, and will never scam a player in-game. I don't tp trap, team scam, and others which seems suspicious to other players. Yeah, I used to hack, but it has stopped and i'm trying my best to not do it again, and I want to keep that up, so please don't influence me with a habit of breaking rules, especially to the hackers & to the players who use inappropriate language, who insults, and who use profanity. I'm trying to keep my promises and i'm trying to always fulfill my promises. I'm trying not to let players feel let down by me. Please forgive me guys, i'm still changing my attitude for the better. It won't take long. Honest I'm trying my best to be honest. I admit that i've done a few things that I have kept a secret for so long. The biggest lie i've ever told anyone is that I was qualified to be a moderator in the old days. I didn't realize that being a moderator would take that much out of me, please give me another chance and please forgive me. I'm starting to develop my skill of the so called 'telling the truth' to players in the Mineverse community. Now at least, I don't lie about my skills and I list it here even though I have some issues / need improvements on the certain skill. Responsible I am definitely responsible, well, at least in-game. I've had experience and I promise to you guys that I will handle your reports and ban appeals no matter who you are. I promise to fulfill your requests and handle your problems if you need help on it. For the staff, Noobcrew and CypriotMerks, I will keep my ban log organised and clear, and I will try to make the server a more comfortable place to visit and stay on. I promise you guys. Respectful I respect everyone, no matter their ranks or popularity. I will always treat everyone the same as I treat any other person I know. There's not much I need to say here, as i've said the same thing on my 'Nice' and 'Helpful' skills. Level headed I am calm, i'm trying not to rage when I lose or die in game, especially in the PvP gamemodes. I try to be as sensible as I can be so you guys would understand what i'm saying. I think before I write anything, and I do that everytime, no matter what. I've made a mistake of that and I ended up here, regretting about the days I was a bad moderator. Experienced with commands I obviously have experience with the basic commands, such as: /ban /tempban /mute /kick /helpop (Does this still exist?) I still need to get updated with the new commands added to the moderator rank. It's been a long time and updates flew everywhere on Mineverse. Experienced as a mod I have experience with this rank and how much effort it takes to get this opportunity. I got it and I failed you guys hardly, to the point of my demotion. I experienced the staff section, which was if i'm not mistaken the ban logs, the jail logs, and the mute logs. Not sure about the mute logs though. I've experienced the stress of getting asked to help every single player in Mineverse to catch rule breakers & hackers and to punish them according to the infraction. It was really the good old days. Dedicated I am dedicated to this server and moderation. I love going on the server and the server itself. I'm hoping to get another chance to moderate on this amazing server. It produces a great emotion when we help players. That's one of the reasons I put so much dedication on this application and on Mineverse. Known on forums & server At least I used to be. I remember some of the old players such as SomeGuy, Djryan, Kubasliz, Grayson, pokemaniac, Layers12, etc. Now, i'm starting to build friendships with other players online. I have been playing on Mineverse for around 2 years now, which I think was December 2013. For forums, I joined around 1 month after, which was January 2014. Those were the good old times of Mineverse, am I right? Have you ever been banned on Mineverse? Yes, if you consider the skywars and creative ban I assure is because of my demotion. I'm currently banned from creative because of an unknown reason. Still trying to figure it out, Cyp won't every reply. But for forums, I never broke a single rule and if you might consider it a ban I requested a ban once. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Yes, in fact, i've been a moderator on this server. It was a short experience, but a good one as well. I am trying hard to get that position back, wish me luck.
