Welcome to my application for moderator. I hope I provide enough information for you to be able to support me in my journey to become a moderator. Here goes nothing. Bio: For those that don't know me, I'm Dyna_mighty. I am a wife of 13 years to my best friend in the whole world. We have one human son, IGN:tctwhite, and he is our world. Our other children have fur or feathers. I am an avid animal lover, as if you can't tell from my profile picture. We have 3 dogs, 5 cats, 12 chickens, a bird and a turtle. I originally started playing MC because I wanted to know what the big fuss was about it. I quickly became addicted to it like everyone here. I love the outdoors and would be outside 24/7 if I could. Unfortunately, some health issues prevent me from being as active as I would like to be, which is why I play MC as much as I do. If you would like to know more about me, feel free to PM me. English Why do you think you should become a mod? I believe I should become a mod for many different reasons. *Dedication* When I put myself into a job/position, I throw myself head-long into it. I give my 100% to everything that I do. If given this job, I will work my behind off to help Mineverse be an even better place to be. I am online and available just about any time of my day. If I am not right at the computer and help is needed, if someone sends me a skype message, I will get it really fast. *Love For Kids/Young Adults* I guess my love for kids really comes from being a cleverly disguised kid in an adult body. :p I love all kids and have my entire life. Many years ago I quit my paying job to become a stay at home mom as well as to become a foster mom. My husband and I were parents to over 20 kids during the time we were foster parents. We absolutely love helping kids with any background, in any situation. I know a lot of kids/young adults struggle in today's age and have 2 great ears for listening. I have offered to help many kids on Mineverse that are currently struggling to talk with them and give them advice on their situations if needed. It really bothers me when I see my friends (and yes I consider them my friends even though they are half my age) struggling and want to help them in any way I could. *Loyal & Trustworthy* I have to say that I am extremely loyal to those who are loyal to me. I have made many friends throughout the Mineverse community and they will tell you that I am very loyal to everyone. Even those who aren't necessarily my friends know that I am loyal to my friends. Everyone that is not brand new also knows they can trust me 100%. I have never scammed anyone, nor do I ever plan to. *Just* I do my very best and do not knowingly break the rules. I have gotten myself into trouble a few times because at the time I did not know the rules (my fault, yes). But in every other aspect, I do what is right. I am a very fair person. I am stickler for the rules and will enforce them as needed. *Helpful* I try my best to help players in any situation. There are so many new people in and out of prison, I feel as if I type the same thing 100 times a day. But each time someone asks for help and I am not AFK, I help them to my best ability. If I cannot help them with a specific task (reporting, rank help, etc) I point them in the right direction to ensure they can get what they need done. *Experience* Not only do I have a lot of life experience, I also have a lot of professional experience as well. In the past I have been a co-owner of a successful business. I was responsible for several employees, anywhere from 5-9 at a time. I was also responsible for hiring and releasing people as needed. I was also responsible for all of the things a secretary would do. Payroll, taxes, estimates, etc. Any kinds of lists, written rules, you name it, I will excel at it, if given the chance. I currently serve positions on 2 different board of directors for Home School Associations in our local area. I am responsible for coordinating numerous different events for both groups. I make sure all of the other coordinators that assist me are doing what needs to be done and offer assistance if any is ever needed. If they are having problems getting things taken care of, I help them however they need it. If they need to step down from their positions, it is my responsibility to see that we find a suitable replacement. I am also responsible for all communications for one of the groups. I maintain and keep up our group's multiple websites as well. How long can you be active on the server everyday? At least 5-6 Hours, likely more. Also, I live on the East Coast of the USA and can be on during the day while most are at work/school. I have Skype and can be easily accessed if a situation arises. How long have you been playing Mineverse? Right at a year Have you ever been banned in the past? Yes I have, twice. Once when I was new and I had 4 plots on prison. And then 2nd time was when I trusted someone, claimed a piece of land for my faction so they could protect their build. Well, they built a cactus duper and since it was built on my faction claimed land, I was banned for it. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I have a lot of experience moderating online gaming communities as well as forums. I used to own several leagues within a website and ran those very efficiently. The only reason I gave them up was because at the time I couldn't put the time needed into them. During these years I trained dozens of tournament directors on how to properly do their jobs. If need be, I released them from their duties if their behavior required I do so. At times I had to "fire" my tournament directors, which were also my friends. It made it a tough job because most of them were personal friends of mine. I did lose a couple of friends over it, but I had to follow the rules of the server. While I was their friend, I was also their boss. My most recent moderation position: I have also been a moderator/game master at a Minecraft Homeschool. This server teaches classes that are accredited and will give students credit on their high school diplomas. I will add one more thing. It will likely be brought up that I went inactive for several months. I absolutely did. I went inactive because my son and I spent the entire summer on the road. We weren't home a lot and Minecraft did not get played at all. It will also likely be brought up that I do not post a ton on the forums. Like others have posted, I only post on things that I feel I should post on. I don't just post to get my numbers up. If I am needed on threads, I will be there. If you watch the members online, I am there pretty much all day long. If I were ever to go inactive again, I would let the head staff know ahead of time. If that wasn't ok with them, then I would resign. I am not one to just run off and leave people hanging. Ok all, I think that about wraps things up. I put tons of detail in it for everyone. I hope to see lots of support, especially from those who begged me to put my app back up. I absolutely love Mineverse and consider this my Minecraft Home. I've played on many servers over this past year and none have ever felt like "home" like this place has. I hope I get the opportunity to serve alongside this awesome group of moderators. -Dyna
According to my own observations. I don't play too many servers other than OpPrison and sometimes Prison. Anyways, seeing as I'll trust what Morgan said, support.
