Honestly I think Windows 7 is easier to function with if you haven't used Windows 8 at all. (at least for me)
Agreed, we hate Windows 8. I would highly recommend upgrading to Windows 10. We have loved it. It blended 7 & 8 very well. It still has the app store like Windows 8, but looks and functions like 7.
