[Infection] Torch Abusing on Jungle.

I suppose you came here to learn about why people boost other humes on Infection Jungle map.
This only happens when---

I am going to show you a diagram of a tree on jungle where boosting is impossible/torch abuse

Ok. I notice 3 things here- The certain amount of knockback from hitting upward is JUST enough for a player to reach the top vine and climb to impossible heights. 1. There is no vine on one of the blocks to climb
2. Its basically IMPOSSIBLE to make it up there.
3. You cant normally kill people who torchabuse/got boosted UNLESS you are prestige 7-10 and bowspam them.
Now here is ANOTHER diagram where a human gets BOOSTED by a zombie.

(yes the blocks are sorta shifted around)
Now notice how a hume can now access an UNREACHABLE AREA where you CANNOT CLIMB!!!
This is literally what makes jungle BAD.
Now, to explain 'Torch Abusing'
Redstone Torches/Airstrikes can GET RID OF VINES- Which makes the vine dissappear in the process.
So lets say a torch is in THIS AREA:

T|O So again, | = Vine, and O = Block.

T represents the torch, then after a few milliseconds, THIS happens-

This means the vine has GONE for GOOD.
Now, now that i've explained the Cons of jungle (and what Torch Abusing is), I can explain HOW WE CAN GO AROUND THIS.
1. We can catch abusers and report them and get them banned on the spot.
2. Remove jungle ENTIRELY.
3. Replace airstrikes with another item
or 4. Remove that tree spot and replace it with another different tree without the boost.

It's been breaking before you even came to Mineverse. That's just how long this has been a problem.


And I'm pretty sure Jungle is already on the "remove" plan.

Honestly I like the jungle map, but your right that people are abusing airstrikes on it, honestly the airstrikes just need removed.

 

Jungle either needs to be removed or revamped, in my opinion.

 

The diagram is supposed to represent what happens in this boost/torch abuse state. I'm also going to make a thread on boosting to the roof on nuketown, as well as the tree on desert.

 

Dude, don't bother. There is nothing they can do about boosting (unless they allow hacks)

 

Why not bother when they can make boosting bannable.
