Don't get angry. Players do not know the full story. Once again, you guys can't see reports at the moment.
For my timezone, Pile is more active than half the staff team. She handles all of my forum reports in under 5 minutes. She replies to my in game reports in under 15. She even has a job, is admin on another server. Most of the staff is under 20, giving them mainly school as the largest life blocker. They should be active like they said they would on their moderator app. I have never had any other mod handle my forum reports. The only ones that have done in game, are the ones when I tell them to look at my reports. So they'll be public again?

I heavily appreciated the time you've taken to develop a reply. However, there are a few thing's I would like to address personally. As I said, I heavily respect the staff team on here and wish to see the staff do well as well. But you mentioned mistakes? Yes, it is human for people to make mistakes. However, it is an issue if people make the same mistakes over and over again. Such as the way of life. Say you're the CEO of a major industry, but have a few employees that just aren't living up to your expectations. What would you do? Keep them around because you like them, despite the fact of their lacking duties? This is how real life jobs are handled. It's okay to make mistakes, but not constantly. If you make mistakes doing your job, guess what happens? You lose that job. You're fired and that's it. So tell me this.. Say there are staff members in the future that make plenty of mistakes, yet you "love" them and like them so.. Would you still keep these lacking staff members around? By the way, the work load isn't kept at a reasonable rate. I don't even want to discuss with you the putrid spam waves and such I have seen on MV daily for the past 3 weeks as it'll upset me. I am glad you realize this issue as well. However, there needs to be a consistent influx of which staff are accepted. If you wait months and months.. And MONTHS.. Guess what? The staff will become understaffed overtime, and the useless staff won't be taken care of quicker. This is why I suggested a better training system for new staff members. This way if they don't cut the role as being staff, they're gone. I am glad you also carry your duties well, and respect that you encourage the staff so well.
I am fine with them being public. Though, I agree, Pile is a great asset. But still, it doesn't mean other staff members don't do anything reports wise. ;) So let's get back to the main view. More staff? Sure. We will try to bring it.
Lots of staff. This server hits 1000+ people. During those spikes, there are what, 2 staff online? Promote people that actually have time.
Your right. If one was dedicated enough, would not he or she make time for the server? It is infact that he or she decided to apply for staff.
I am in charge of mistakes this team makes. People who make the same mistakes are to be punished. Though, honest mistakes are acceptable. No one has been making countless mistakes to a point where it is concerning. I realize the weaknesses and will work to fix them. Tad, I said some sort of time burden. Doesn't mean they can't get on. Now, let's get on with this lovely thread. You can PM me if you have concerns.
Yes, I understand that. Lucky for me, nothing happens in my life. We mainly need mods spread out across time zones.
Exactly my point as to why the influx of which apps are accepted should be routined. Also exactly my point as to why a new training process should be implemented. This way, those who fail to live up to their duties as staff can be promptly demoted and replaced with a more committed member. :P
I recommend also not bashing the current understaffed staff team. The whole point of this thread is to hopefully bring about change to make this staff team not only an effective force we all wish to see, but also to be favored by the players. @RawrImaEatChu @TADS4 :P
