Hello all and welcome to my application. Before we begin our journey into the unknown I will tell you a little bit about myself. I live in New Zealand and currently 17 years of age. After 4 months of solid training to become a Firefighter i was officially accepted into my local fire brigade 1 week ago as RFF (Rockie Firefighter). I am studying to become an electrician, this year before i started my electrician course I was working as a line mechanic and fell in love with this line of work and wanted to explore more into the industry. In my spare time I love playing Minecraft and the server Mineverse of cause, spending time with my family and hanging out with friends. I hope you will enjoy reading my application and be sure to leave your valued feedback below. I am currently 17 years old and counting! My Minecraft username is Travis_B Pacific/Auckland I currently live in New Zealand but my parents are thinking of moving to America as my Dad has been offered a job there. My primary language is English. I can speak basic sentences in Spanish which i started to learn 1 year ago by google translate. I do not think it is very accurate for some words as when i log onto Spanish servers i sometimes get "?" or I just get ignored. :D I should become mod on Minverse because I'm a very friendly player that would help out others when they're not knowledgeable of something. Everybody that I have met has been treated fairly and well from me. I have known Mineverse for 2-3 years in my life and I trust myself that I can finally do a strong part of the community. Being mod on Mineverse would tell me that I'm a person that would be willing to help people/new comers on the server. I will only use my power to not only help others out, but to make Mineverse grow as a better experience for all the people that doesn't usually enjoy Mineverse as much for all the hackers and advertisers that ruins the fun for everyone. These are the things that I'm able to maintain without anyone asking me to do it. Some of the popular clients that hackers would like to use are: Kill aura, Speed Hacks, Anti-Kb, Fast Bow, Forcefield, and Jesus Hacks. These are the main clients that I see the most when I'm on Mineverse and I would like to make a change to that. Having the "Mod" tag doesn't mean that I'm being treated in a different way from everyone else, It just proves that I'm willing to take a stand and help out the network the best I can with my powers that I'm given. I'll admit that I will be making mistakes during my staff life, but I will be able to learn from them and correct them A.S.A.P. Playing on Mineverse isn't about being the best of the best and making everyone feel like a downer. I'm able to maintain competitive players that take Minecraft very seriously. Many new comers may have no idea what they are doing and don't know where they are or where to go. I will be able to give them a tour and help them out in the best way that I can. I rarely get mad, since everyone that see is nice to me and I returned the favor by being nice back to them. I will be able to /warn or /ban or /mute if any players is non- family friendly. I will be saying jokes from time to time but that won't stop me from patrolling the community as I want to make it a better experience for everyone. Talking to rude players that disrespect the staff or the server will make me feel like I'm actually doing something and not just playing Skywars all the time. I will first talk to them in a mature and calm manner, but if they take the levels way high then I will still talk in a calm manner since as I said, I rarely get mad. Skywars doesn't stop me from warning someone or banning someone since being the staff and doing its job correct matters the most. I'm very active in-game and trying my best in forums as well. In my free time I would check the forums and see what is happening in the community. I don't want anybody to feel sad, depressed, angry, or endangered on the Mineverse Community as it will make them feel uncomfortable being here. I want them to feel happy and actually want to stay and enjoy more and learn more from Mineverse. I am active daily (as I said) moderating servers and talking to new comers that just joined. I want to make Mineverse a better and bigger and clean experience for everyone. If I am accepted mod, i want to get the most out of it. I will be active, checking reports, helping improving the website, in-game suggestions to make the experience better for players and listen to the public voice. I will be prpffesional but be easy going at the same time. I am always willing to give up my time to help others. I think Mineverse has a lot of potensial to go further and i would love to be helping us to get there. I am very good with XenForo, i develop custom forums for clients mostly for Minecraft servers, I would love to work along side Noob or Crypt to make some changes to the website for the better. I think the forums is an essential part of any server, it allows the players to bond more and gives everyone a chance to meet and become part of the awesome community we are. Below i will list all the times i can play each day. Please don't mock, I like playing Mineverse a lot. :D Monday - 1-4 hours. Tuesday - 1-6 hours. Wednesday - 1-6 hours. Thursday - 1-6 hours. Friday - 1-10 hours. Saturday - 4-12 hours. Sunday - 2-8 hours. School Holidays - 4-12 hours. I've been playing Mineverse for about 2-3 years. My friend introduced me to it in late 2012, from this point on I have fell in love with MV. I mostly spend 75% of my time on Skywars and the rest playing other servers with friends and trying to meet new people. I am starting to get back into my Skyblock hoping to make long term friend relationships with the players and have a good island. In my time playing Mineverse I have not been banned before on any Mineverse servers in my time and don't plan to. Yes, I have experience as a Moderator and other positions, which I will tell you about now. Server #1 SwagCraft Owner- NickSwag13 Status- Offline This server is were I learned the ropes of staff, and lot's of commands. The owner and I met on a Hunger Game's server, about 7-8 months ago. We were both playing in the same game, and both chasing a hacker. We killed the hacker together, and discovered we make a good team. He told me he had a server, and invited me to play on it. His server had about 15-20 players on daily, which was pretty big for me. He was in need of a Moderator, so he invited me to apply. (I would show you my application, but he took that server website down). I applied, and he accepted! I began my journey of moderator with the simple things, saying things like "Please quiet down", or "Stop spamming". When Nick asked me why I wasn't using my powers of /mute and /ban, I admitted I did not know how! He then taught me, and I learned all the commands. In due time, the server was free of spammers and advertisers. Thing's were going well, until tragedy struck. Nick's mother was ill, and Nick was failing school. He told me he would restart the server when things got better, but days, then weeks went by without me hearing from him. I haven't heard from him since to this day. (I still have his e-mail if anyone wants to confirm this, though I don't know if he will respond). Server #2 ToxicCraft Owner- Jason(A bunch of numbers, I forgot) Status- Offline After wandering through server after server, I found the small little community of ToxicCraft. The server had about 10-15 players daily, So it was a very small community. The owner had no real website, no real donation system, and honestly, it was a mess. When I joined, I was welcomed by at least 5 or 6 different people. What a great community, I thought. Though the moment I stepped into pvp, the hackers were upon me. This server really needs some help, I said to myself. So the next time the owner was on, I asked him were I could apply for staff. He said "Uhh well you see we don't Uhh HAVE a place." It was that moment I knew the server needed some serious help. So I took it upon my self to help the server. I didn't have any special commands, any sort of power or leverage. All I did was stop spammers, try to help the flame in chat quiet down, and generally recorded hackers. It was about 2 weeks in when the owner finally figured out how to give out staff ranks. He msged me in game asking if I wanted to be staff. I said yes! He then gave me a staff rank he invented called "DemiGod". It was basically helper. Even so, I used my commands (/kick and /mute) to help the server best I could. The spammer population decreased a lot, and for a while, things were calm. Though since the owner had no real payment method, he couldn't afford the server! Eventually, due to funding issues, the server ran out of cash. (I think I still have him on Skype if staff need to confirm) Server #3 CakeCrafttt Owner- Forgot name ;-;. Status- Unknown. When my good friend, Tyler introduced me to CakeCrafttt. It was a server run by his cousins friend, and he invited me to play on it. Let me just say, if their is ever a server who worships something, its this one. I literally could not walk around without seeing.. well... CAKE! The owner was a good person, who was on literally 24/7. Since I was good friend with the owners friend, right when I joined they gave me Staff. I protested, saying I had to apply and earn it. They muted me. In the end, I wrote my staff app and sent it to him over Skype. After reading it through, he gave me admin. Honestly, they didn't have a very big player base. They had about 10-30 players daily. My main job was to TP and watch people in vanish. I couldn't believe me eyes on how many hackers I caught. I became a master of using my admin perms, like IP banning, vanishing, and TP'ing. One day, Tyler got into a fight with the owner. The owner got mad at Tyler, and banned and demoted us both! I couldn't believe it, it was crazy. I tried to contact him over Skype, but he blocked us both. To this day, I don't know what they fought over. Server #4 NoobCraft Owner- Vper_Swift. Status- Offline. My friend wanted to start a server early this year. It was a skyblock server, and had custom plugins. My job was to moderate the website (XenForo), take care of ban reports ect. A few months past and our player base was pretty good, my friend had given console to someone that he though he could trust. I have expressed my concerns to him but my voice went to deaf ears. About 1 week later we came home from lunch to no server. We tried to get the players back but it was to late, most of them where not happy about losing there builds then the donations stop coming in. On June the 9th we had shutdown the server and it has not re opened since. I would like to thank you for reading my application and i am open to all feedback. I can gurantee you, if i am given this role i will not let you down. I will work my very hardest and to the best of my ability.
