The new Infection update.

As most of you, or all of you know, there was a recent update that improved and made infection worse, from different points of view. However we're here to gather information and not opinions.

For Tanner, Mods, or People that know information:
Are nametags being added for the zombies?

What are the current prestige bonuses (I heard that prestige 6 has no egg)?

Is leaf glitching bannable?

Is spawn killing bannable?

Is this being fixed? (The zombie is @D8_C41, and he was human at the time)

 

.... Thanks. I am a zombie permanently and i have seen this with other people to. Tell me if i need proof as i did take screenshots on the map Towers. Also ask @Mookiezzx if it was on the map Towers since i am pretty sure it was.

And about leaf glutting @NoobCupCake told me that it was on OutBreak.

 

I think from what I've heard they're impossible to add in 1.8, I heard I saw in chat yesterday that something is going down on Sunday but I'm not too sure.

 

That will essentially ruin teaming however, you usually attack any zombie on instinct, without ever wondering about who it is because you're too afraid of death.

 

You say this thread is for information, but you start off by declaring your own stance on the Infection change.
Looks like you wanted a reason to complain, making me feel this was pretty much a meh thread. But you know, whatever floats your boat, I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

If I may quote, I said, "there was a recent update that improved and made infection worse, from different points of view." I actually liked the change, however I never took a negative or positive bias in that statement. I've just seen multiple people both complain and enjoy the change.

 

Name tags are not possible in 1.8

Leaf glitching is block glitching, even though I watched a mod do it.

Spawn killing is not bannable, lol.

The main problem is that you can't report zombies if they're hacking if you can't see who it is.

 

Well There are some annoying updates to infection like the temporally losing all my points because I was still voting in that period of time and I got a really lucky vote That was annoying it But now you don't have those teamers because of the zombies and no nametags and you can tell who is a zombie or not because its annoying when ur alive and you got a doner in their kit and you cant tell if there a zombie So thankyou Mineverse for that <3

 

Well for starters leaf/block glitching is legal and spawn killing is just annoying, but legal as well when I was talking to @Alex in-game. We also had a person who was a human but in zombie disguise, plus he was in chainmail armour. Luckily, the player didn't have the problem after the round.
I think they didn't put name tags so they could somehow stop teaming, which was annoying for some people. Though some people teamed again by removing parts of their armour (Or all of the set) or whatever item they were holding. They might add zombie name-tags, they might not.

As I recently I heard someone speaking to Tanner, and he mentioned that nametags on zombies will be added sooner or later. To answer your question about leaf glitching, realistically it shouldn't be ban-able and I doubt that it is but according to Scorvix, it is. Spawn killing is not ban-able under and circumstances, people just find it annoying and they try to have a go at you because you keep killing them over and over again. I believe with all the work Tanner and such have been doing, I believe it should be fixed sooner or later, depending on the speed they go at and it all depends on what they plan to do.
