Rachel Joy Scott was a victim of the 1999 Columbine High School shooting; one of the worst school shootings that has ever happened in the United States.

Rachel was a very kind girl. She was always trying to spread kindness every way she could as often as she could.

During her lifetime, she kept a journal. In this journal were some of the things Rachel thought about, or things she wanted to happen; things that WOULD happen.

She was writing a paper for her 5th period class, "My Ethics, My Codes of Life". Somewhere in this paper, she provided the reader with five different challenges, that all had to do with kindness. She write this about a month prior to her death.

I am trying to make the chain reaction happen... spread the kindness

 

I will go into further detail about why this is important in the place holders once I have access to a computer

Essentially she wants to make others happy and kind, by BEING happy and kind. Kind of like an infection of goodness. Spreading the love and happiness

 

Infection- spread the disease and kill all.

 

This doesn't kill. It brightens up the day of others.

I'm pretty sure nobody ever died from the common Cold, an infection, acruelly a few people did but that's besides the point

 

It will kill us as we will explode in confetti and glitter..

I actually once caused a kindess chain reaction. At school, I shouted "I love you all guys!!" Then next thing you know, people are shouting "I love youu!!" Or "We're AMAZING!!" Then I got sent to the teachers on duty.. and given an award. xD (Based on a true story)
