Infection Feature Suggestions

Post suggestions, improvements and ideas for the Infection gamemode on this thread to be possibly implemented.

Do NOT post maps. I am not able to add maps to Infection.
You may post bug reports and repost from the suggestions forum.
Acceptable content includes gameplay enhancements, locale modifications, features, etc.

I will be deleting irrelevant or unnecessary posts, as well as suggestions that are beyond my control or are not viable. Any posts left undeleted will need to be approved by an Administrator privately (don't tag them) before being implemented.

Implemented:
Added bows to prestiges 8 through 10
Infected players are now disguised as zombies (if all goes well, unable to test alone :s)
Switched armour for P1 and P2

Spider eyes not working

• Unsure of what they do, as of now they just poison you.

Spawning glitch

• All new members spawn at the lobby when they first join the game mode

Vines

• They aren't re-growing

Prestiges

• 8-10 are missing bows
• P2 is blast protection, maybe change it?

Tracking

• At 30 seconds left, make it so the player cords of the humans are shown

Kills

• When you kill someone make r so you always get the xp
• Keep your xp if you die

Voting

• Voting offline you don't keep levels
• As a zombie you have to live 5 seconds to keep it

Extra lives for prestiges?

 

How many lives for prestige? And if this were implemented I think they should have a grace period of 10-15 seconds though.

 

/suicide
/pet was removed for a reason.

 

When you place an airstrike in lava / water, it shifts. Which is how Nether was ruined :/

 

They had it for a bit.

 

Maybe adding names above the zombies. (Unless intentionally preventing teaming)

 

Commands such as

/prestige reset
Reset your prestige (If you are p7 Sergeant Major, you may restart from p7 Recruit)

/rank reset
Reset your rank (If p10, you may use this command to start back at prestige 0 Recruit)

(Skeptical) /prestige pick <prestige>
(If you are p10 you may pick which prestige you'd like to go back to [may not go forward prestige's, even after going back] any prestige before you)

 

Add a plugin were you can vote for maps

 

Awesome.

Would be a mass load of spam.

 

Nerf eggs?

 

I thought they did?


Add an egg to p10? P9-10 are just about similar, it'd be nice to have a difference.

 

P9 has 1 less arrow right, and p8 another less arrow?

 

Eggs are nerfed in this update. :D

 

Higger walls to prevent this from happening.

They dont seem to be nerfed.

 

Nothing to do with maps. Read the thread thoroughly please.

 

"Nerfed" as in you have a reduced amount, limited to one per map. Meaning you can't just throw an egg, kill yourself, throw one, kill yourself, throw one, etc.
Same applies for the bows.
