[Infection] Levels

Simple. There are tons of people who have lost months of hard work, such as @Mookiezzx @paulainmo and @SomeGuy , me being one.

One thing that would be nice to have back, is our levels.

So yea, comment support if we should get our levels back, and no support if not

Fixed prestiges.
Zombie looking zombies.

Dislikes:
Level reset.
Human-biased maps still intact.
No zombie-biased maps added.

Suggestions:
Add nametags on top of the zombies' heads, you can easily teamkill and nobody likes that.
Add caves, temple.

And i also think the update would be better if you could see nametags cause then u can see your team and see hackers

 

Another suggestion: Make the prestige 10 symbol look like this https://gyazo.com/dcda7a41d5a69501f64d71ab9ae1df99 again. Sorry if the image is huge/blurry for you guys, it's a small section of the whole screen

But seriously even though the symbol's physically smaller without the bold tag, it looks pretty weird all cut off like it is.

 

It's called a reset for a reason. If the community doesn't like it, the infection will be reset to how it was. (Broken)

 

It's not a reset, lol. They only took away levels. (Backed them up) if it was a reset, there would be more maps, donor ranks would be missing.

It was an update. Now please, do not comment anything on my thread again unless it's a support and no support.

No support. In the /motd it says this is a test reset. If the community is not well off with it, everything will be restored to the older (broken) version.

 

"Some have worked months", while other have works years like nitro, Xrosmage and I.

I'm pretty sure most long time players are happy with the reset, as now there is something to shoot for. No more "no-purpose" playing.


No support. Other game modes have gone through resets with people complaining. They sucked it up, let's not show them that Infection is full of complainers. ;)

 

The motd says that if people are unhappy their ranks will be reset to what they were before, not the entire update reverted.

 

You must not have understood. It is either reset for everyone, or reset for no one.

 

Infection is one of the game modes that has gone without a reset the longest. And it is the game mode that is in need of a reset the 2nd most.

 

I mean to say that if the majority of people want their ranks back everyone's ranks will be returned, while if more people want to stick with the reset to 0 levels then everyone will.

From Cyp's post: "As it displays in-game, we do indeed have backups of the ranks, and will re-add them if this test fails."

The whole update, which included changes to prestiges 8-10 and some other small stuff I believe, will stay changed. Only peoples' levels given back.

 

Good luck coding that then. You won't be able to restore levels and keep the update. It's either levels, or reset.

For the record, no. It will not be restored to the broken version. They were testing how it went. So far, not so well.
