What's so awful about 1.9 PvP?....

 

Shields. A hoe will be the best weapon. The damage has a cool down.

Shields don't sound awful. The rest is ... no.

 

Mookie brings up some good vids for us here (thanks!). In the 2nd video it states that coders and devs and people who can understand how to do this will be able to adjust the attack speeds to normal/faster/slower. So, if @TannerLittle is indeed willing to do this for the kits, we should be fine. Plus 1.9 brings in some really cool new potions/mobs/blocks too. Tell me what you think!

Tbh, I don't find shields that bad either, however the hit cooldown for full damage gets annoying.

No I can say I've never done shrooms before.

 

I tried out PvP on a 1.9 snapshot server.....I cried

I think you just found the problem.

 

@FakeASmile The attack cooldown is awful. It makes PvP so slow and the old way of PvP becomes useless.

 

4 second fights of people getting 10 hit combos? Old ways die hard, but they were already useless.

Full support, Tried out 1.9 and a pvp server for it, its sucks! Keep 1.8 please or get someone to make 1.9 like 1.7, 1.7 was epic.

 

It's player vs player, the second you hit someone it's PvP so stop complaining that people don't know how to PvP.
