Preface I never thought I would actually be applying here again, but people have convinced me to do so. I hope that you can all accept my apology. I would like to apologize for all my recent actions towards the community. I am trying my best to change for the better. I hope you can accept my apology. BackgroundJust a little background on me. I currently live in Maryland, USA. I am one of four siblings, with me being the oldest. My life has always been bad, with people hating me, and putting me down. I came to Mineverse looking for a new start, and it's really helped me. Playing on Mineverse has helped me make so many new friends. How old are you? I am currently 15 years old, turning 16 next February. Your in-game name: My current in game name is intoxicvted. Yes, I understand how this may not be the best username, but some of the usernames I have seen in the past are also, not the best. What timezone are you in? I currently live in EST (Eastern Standard Time) What country do you live in? I proudly live in the United States of America. What languages do you speak? I speak two languages right now, English fluently, and Spanish not so much. I am taking Spanish throughout my high school years, in order to help me in life. I am in Spanish III Honors. Why do you think you should become a mod? There are multiple reasons why I think I should be a mod, here they are. I am... •Active• Most of my in game friends would agree that I am usually the most active person they know. As you can tell by my schedule. Being active can help me find hackers or spammers late at night or early in the morning, which keeps the server looking better. •Trustworthy• As a mod you would have to be trustworthy. When my friends have something to tell me, or talk about their feelings they trust me. They trust the fact that I won’t tell anyone, which I never have. •Kind• Whenever one of my friends tell me problems with their life I have to be nice. No I do not act nice, I'm nice to them. I will try my best to keep that person happy by being kind to them. •Caring• I am a caring person. I have feelings for everyone. Some might not be the best, but almost all are positive. If someone needs help with something in life I will help him or her through it. •Helpful• I am always willing to help someone. No matter what the problem is. If it involves another person that they need to talk to, I will help them. I'm always helping people out on infection. From lost levels, to donating, to simple questions. •Responsible• When you're responsible you have to be able to make decisions by your self. In life I've had options to choose from. Some of them have changed how I am today. •Listening• If there is an argument I don't just jump to conclusions, I listen to each person’s side and then would decide. •Mature• As some of you can tell I've matured. Being mature can help you get far in life. People will hire you for jobs. As I have matured I have learned the differences between good and bad choices. •Fast Learning• If there is something important going on I’m able to learn it quickly. I have been able to learn social studies and math topics quickly, which ends up being helpful. Learning new things allows you to be smarter and help others more. •Humor• Everyone has a sense of humor, right? I can be a calm and chill person. I like to have fun. Being a moderator doesn't have to take away all the fun from playing. Nor does it take away your right to be humorous. •Knowledge• I know the simple commands as in /ban [player] [reason] appeal @Mineverse.com ~TADS /unban [player] /tempban [player] [time] /kick [player] [reason] /mute [player] /social spy I also know a variety of hacks, from kill aura to ladder speed, to "Speed". I know most of these hacks from using hacks in before. I have since stopped hacking and learned how to play fairly. Using this knowledge I can spot hackers 'easier', and use this to find if a report was valid or not. •Not biased• This one is pretty self-explanatory. I am not a biased person. If my friend had a valid report against them, I would ban them. It is my job to (temp) ban/mute/kick/warn when needed. A friendship would not get in the way of me moderating. •Dedicated• As you can see by my numerous threads about infection (non existent now), I really care about it. I have put effort into helping it. I am part of an infection chat, on the forums, which has gone over many infection problems, and general server problems. How long can you be active on the server everyday? During the summer In game Weekdays~ During the week I am generally able to play from 12pm to 12am. I may be able to be on longer depending on my schedule. Weekends~ I am able to play from 10am to 12am. Times may vary depending on my schedule. Forums Weekdays~ I am able to be active from 8am to 2am. Times vary depending on my schedule. Weekends~ I am able to be active from 9am to 3am. Times may vary depending on my schedule. During the school year In game Weekdays~ I am able to play from 4pm to 10pm. Times may vary based on my homework. Weekends~ I am able to play from 10am to 3pm, then 7pm to 1 Forums Weekdays~ Various times throughout the day, homework and school will change it. Weekends~ I am able to be active on the forums from 9am to about 11pm How long have you been playing Mineverse?I started playing Mineverse in game, around the end of November 2014. Which is around eight months ago. I joined the forums around December 8th, which is just over 9 months ago. Have you ever been banned in the past? Yes, and I regret all of them. First time~ The first ban I have ever had, was for mute evading. With this ban, I had just recently joined, so I did not understand the rules. Though I know being new doesn't matter. To this day, neither the banning moderator (3yerrt) or I know why I was muted. (Or at least to my knowledge) Second time~ The second ban I had, was for perk abuse. This ban was made by Topmass22. I had been trying to kill someone, who had been hacking, and all I needed to do, was get proof. The only way for me to get the proof, was to use my bow and arrow. Now, I will never be banned for perk abuse, as I am prestige 10, and prestige 10 is broken. Third ban~ My final ban was a forum ban and an in game ban. Cypriot placed this ban on me. I was banned for my last status, saying, “Question to Cypriot. How many more crates before you work on your server?” Since then, I have learned my lesson and have changed.\ Forum bans~ I have been Temp banned for 'grave digging' (Topmass) Perm banned for Staff disrespect (Cypriot) Muted for a status (Gizzbots) Muted for a post (Scorvix) Temp banned for a post (Pile) Temp banned for another post (Cypriot) I hope you understand, that while my actions may not be the best, I am trying my hardest to change my character. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I am currently a moderator on a small server, with about 15-20 people maximum. I have also been a moderator on two other servers, with peaks of 20 players. These two servers were both survival, and in the process of adding another game mode, GTA. Sadly, these two servers have been shut down, due to lack of interest by the owners. I have also been the co owner on a friend’s server, which was played by friends from school and real life. Sadly, my friend has quit Minecraft, and let his server go to waste. This server peaked at about 30 people. Lastly, I was head-moderator on another server, this one peaked around 80-100 people daily. The owner on this server had always considered me his best moderator. I am no longer moderator on this server, as I had become bored of it. It was a GTA server, but it got quite boring after some time. Note~ Please take into consideration that I am only applying for Infection. This is the one mode that I truly care about. Conclusion I realize that most of you will not support me, and I understand. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I just hope I was able to change your mind about me as a person.
