9/11 was a tradgedy ,but sadly our nation gloritizes it. People died yes and the familys still ache. We do thisday to honor the ones who died andnshow our strength against terrorism. Yet we mourn the dead which makes uss stayci the pass which makes us weak. We also glorif terrorism by recognizing them. I dont mind people remembering 9/11 but it doesnt need to be forced. Heck my school had a moment of silence when no one in the school knew any one from 9/11. You give power to the enemy when you glorify the end result of what they did.

      Lol, 9/11 isn't a holiday. XD
      Holidays are days of celebration.
I wouldn't find it very honorable to celebrate the deaths of 3k+ people.

A moment of silence is a human sign of respect and honor of a tragedy. It isn't a way of recognizing terrorism or showing weakness. Whether or not you or your classmates knew anyone personally that lost their lives is irrelevant. Your school paid it's respects to other humans that paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Am I going to be able to express my opinion without people getting iffy about it? Most likely not.

      >3 planes were hijacked by Al' Queda terrorists.
Can we please not make assumptions, it was never proven that the terrorists were the Al-Qaeda. The biggest speculation is that the American government caused 9/11, which is more convincing than simply shoving the blame onto terrorists.

      >About 3000 people that worked in the towers died
Who actually cares? Hundreds of thousands of humans died in the war that was started over oil by none other than the American government, yet we do not morn them because the government said so, like always the blame was shifted to terrorists while soldiers were fighting for no reason at all, they weren't fighting for their country, they were fighting for the greed that the American government seems to adore.

      >This was heartbreaking but then people realized how strong America is as a country and that we really are an amazing.
It's heartbreaking that this incident is still being dragged on fourteen years later, it's heartbreaking that the American populace still hasn't learned not to trust the government and they're eating out of their hands. You cannot honour the dead by bringing it up constantly, they are dead, let it go. Let the dead finally rest in piece instead of constantly bringing them up in a comparison.

55.3 million people die each year, times that by 14 years and you get 774 million deaths since 9/11. What is 3,000 humans compared to that amount? Do we remember each death? You don't know even 0.1% of the 744m people that have died. 151,600 people die each day, do you mourn them? Of course not.

      >#NeverForget
      I really wish people would.

      I'm done here.

I wish there would be a thread on the people dying in Syria... I mean didn't hundreds and thousands die..
I don't know, just my opinion, Even though I still care about the incident on the 9/11.

I have lost all my liking in you.
You are a nonsensical idiot. People went into those towers to rescue dying people. That is a heroic thing to do, yet you sit here making up these dumb conspiracies. Terrorist did attack the United States on that day. Whether or not you believe it, they did.
