So recently, it was changed to everyone being global. And I do like this, don't get me wrong. The only problem with it, is it forces the mods to be active on every game mode. And they might not have time for that. So my suggestion is

Give them the option to apply for global, or just certain game modes.

Support but for the reason that I don't think all of the mods deserve or should have global without doing anything for it.

 

They did do something, they applied and were chosen. When I and many other staff members became staff, everyone was global. Regardless of two servers or all of them to look after, you're still going to have staff that don't pull their weight and others that go above and beyond. If cyp and the head mods feel someone isn't doing their part they can be let go. They don't have to earn anything more than they already did. It will be tough for some mods as they aren't used to global perms but the mod perms have also changed as well. Be patient with them and instead of making it harder for them, encourage and help them.

 

I feel like with certain gamemodes having everyone global could be a total disaster like at the moment with prison it really needs specific moderators to dedicate time to look after the community and with moderators coming online for 10 minutes then moving onto another game type to be active on every game type it really makes it hard on the community because of the prison rules. Now I'm not against everyone having global I just think for certain game types it's great like kit-pvp, op-pvp ect but not for the gametypes that need dedicated moderators to be online for 1-2 hours at a time.

Moderators should be designated to 1-2 game modes each (That they choose), That way there will be active mods on all game modes with the exception of a few global ones of course.

Yeah i know Changing everyone to global will still leave some servers left out or less active than others.
I personally think designated mods will do better but i suppose only time will tell.

 

Well the whole point of promoting everybody to global was so everyone will be global, I doubt he'll be changing it back.

I just went to every single gamemode for around 15-20 mins each server, not to brag, sorry, but I think we can handle it. Don't quote me on that, but I believe we can. :P

Some people are fit for global, and some are fit for certain game modes.

And I'm fine with what you think, it's just some people know a crap ton more about one server than others
