Back when I was staff here we all had permissions to view IP's on the forums. This helped when trying to find alt accounts and ban evaders. The permission was removed because of trust issues at that time. I'm suggesting that the duplicate button be added back for Head Mods and Forum Admin. To do this another group would need to be added in ACP for Head Mods. Because the permissions would be different for that specific group. The setup from ACP is simple and I know Cyp is more than capable of setting the group up fairly easily. Adding this permission to these trusted members will help sift through what are genuine new accounts being made and alt accounts used to ban evade, troll and/or rate abuse.
Support, I'm sure this will help greatly. And even I can set up a group on AdminCP (me being someone who only learnt how to do XenForo stuff today xD), I'm sure Cyp can manage it very easily, hehe ;3
No support! I don't want people knowing my IP address and you can almost always easily tell an alt from a real person.
Mods always used to have the perm. I am asking for only Head Mods and Admins. Surely, they wouldn't be promoted to such high ranks without being trusted. :/
I find it funny that you no-support this. xD You are one of the many accused of having several alt accounts.
Both head mods have worked very hard to get there, I doubt they'd abuse this in any way. I feel this is useful as a ton of alts are being made now, support.
