What should we do about rate abuse?

It should not be a rule at all. Who cares if someone gives you a rating? It is just a way good people get banned smh

 

Agreed, someone rated you a few pixels oh no my reputation is ruined. :L

 

The rules should make it clear how many rates are rate abuse. It's like some mods say 3 rates, some say 4 rates, and some even say 5 rates for rate abuse. The punishment should be harder on the offender as well.

 

Not all the time. Look at me for example. Most of the negative rating I receive are from ONE small group of people who mainly dislike me two times, wait until the rule doesn't apply, and then do it again. The rule on has this major hole in it which allows people to rate abuse others without being punished. However, if Krissy's definition of it is accepted, then it would all dive down, not just for me, but for others

Can I just say, why do pixelated "ratings" even matter to you guys? It doesn't change who you are or how you act, it's just a 10x10 image sent to you. Let's say I get a "Like". Cool. No problem.
Let's say I get a dislike. Cool. No problem (at least it is given for a reason.)
Let's say:
This is XenForo, not Facebook.

 

I believe we should just remove the ratings as glaad says, no reason to infract, lol.

 

Some people make such a big deal over receiving negative ratings.
