Just so it has a better purpose and to get people to rank up and stuff... it would bring a whole new demeanor to the game.
No but is there a point of having a rank? Are there any perks or is it just for decoration? In my opinion, there is no point in spending time on implementing ranks that have no purpose. Such time could be invested into other game modes.

Nothing. The reason there are no ranks on mini games is to make things fair. Adding in-game ranks would defeat the whole purpose of everyone being equal. I do not support this idea.
