What should we do about rate abuse?

Hello, I feel like not enough is being done to stop rate abuse, its not that the people bother be its just it puts a negative image on my profile, I know other people are having the same problem, but I think its time we came up with ideas on how to stop it,

 

I think we should not care about pixelated ratings on a forum page on the Internet

Usually I would not care, but people who make moderator applications for example have a smaller chance of succeeding.

 

Rating don't do crap they just show a persons ranking in the community based on common approval rates. Who honestly should care about a few ratings they don't ruin your chance of mod. They do nothing.

How about we keep doing the same thing we've always been doing? report it to a mod, and the moderator removes the ratings. unless its different now, which is stupid af, theres legit nothing else you can do, so...
