Hey guys, Zachary here today I am teaching everyone how to achieve faster fps on Minecraft for pc users. (Sorry, mac users. :p)

Now some people will probably already know this but this is for the people that don't know so please don't go ranting in the comments about how people already know this.

Step 1. Open Minecraft 1.8 so you are on the title screen
Step 2. Crlt+Alt+Dlt, and start task manager.
Step 3. Click Applications then click Minecraft.
Step 4. Once you have clicked minecraft go to processes
Step 5. Look for javaw.exe and right click it.
Step 6. Once you have right clicked it, there should be a button saying set priorty, click that.
Step 7. If you have a low-end PC or just want better fps click/set to High, this will tell your computer to use more power for Minecraft.

Make sure your settings are preferably low, but always turn VSync off, as this limits your fps to 60, and set Fps to Unlimited .

This is in no way steps to break your computer, I just did it a few days ago and went from 40fps to 170fps.
Also if you do have an old/slow pc, setting it to high might cause crashes/failures, You have been warned.
Hope you enjoy! Remember this is for people who don't know :)

      Regards,
      Zachary

Make sure to put Vsync off and set fps to unlimited for maximum effect :)

On Step 3, where is "Applications" located? I can't see it on mine for some reason.

You have to run Minecraft first. Then you'll see the application on the applications section of the task manager.

Setting the priority to high can cause issues. Its not recommended unless you know what your doing. Doing this on a slow or old pc may cause computer crashes or failures. Youve been warned
