I'm sorry I still don't understand it completely. from the vids I saw it is a game for designing homes and then I saw a platforming vid. I'm truly sorry
I've always thought about how a Portal gamemode would work in Minecraft and I realized that it would take one hell of an advanced plugin. Portal is an awesome franchise and I've already beaten both games. I think it would be awesome if we could transport this idea into Minecraft, but the real issue is that making a plugin that could support Portal map making would, right now, seem practically impossible. It really doesn't even have to be based on Portal. I think some type of puzzler mini-game that involved teleportation would make a nice addition to the Mineverse palette of mini-games, but the idea still has a lot of room to expand on. Support, but I don't think it's currently possible to program a plugin that will support this type of game mode.
thanks for the input! the only question i have is if we could make a puzzler mini game like that why not theme it off something we could relate to?
That is a good question, and I do agree it should have a theme. My problem is that Portal probably isn't generally known among most of the community of Mineverse because they either don't have Steam or just have never seen the game advertised.
