I think the question is, what would the cons be to promoting a forum admin? If there are none, why not support it?
This is easy, the same reason you keep me around on SkyBlock (Besides the fact I am perfect and fabulous). 1. A Forum Administer will help ease some of the work you have to do on the forums, they can edit and alter offensive profiles (which includes signatures etc). Just minor stuff that should be handled on a daily bases. 2. A direct method to contact you, I know it's silly but it adds a level of communication towards user and administrator. Despite the Forum Admin not being an 'official' admin, they're still one and if they communicate it looks good in others eyes. 3. Consider them a 'head-mod' of the forums, they have a job to maintain the forums, which takes a lot of stress from you. Forum Admin can lead to Forum Moderators which just eases everyone's tasks immensely. The only issue is finding someone that can work and utilize the ACP without causing issues, someone trustworthy and you know will do more good than harm. Find someone you can trust and know that they have the knowledge to handle the task and promote them temporarily and see how they do. No bad can come of that, just give them limited perms.
