Inappropriate Names

Hmm. Yet people like me, everytime I log onto the server I check both Tab list and /who. It's not doing a very good job at it, especially since when you're name is still easily seen. :/

this is bs LMFAOOOO. you're saying someone gets muted because of their name? This is probably the 1st server to use this rule, this is bs.

No, many other servers do this such as Hypixel, Mineplex and Archon. One of the reasons I liked Mineverse was because I could play it on my Fatshit account and not get banned but apparently that's gone too.

 

You can get banned for innappropriate names now..? That's retarted...

 

If you have this rule, at least give the person /nick to make it a appropriate name, but still this is rule is scheisse lol.

 

You can still see it on tab, on /list and if you see the player in game.

 

okay, we should allow the person to be able to chat. But if they have a profanity word inside their name, they should be alerted, and is also able to chat.

I'm sure if nick was ever added, it'd be a donor perk and not all of the people with these names are donors.

Also, my opinion:
Chat is full of terrible/inappropriate language, so I don't think all people with curse words in their username should be muted. Certain usernames cross the line and shouldn't be allowed.

 

Well if do they this stupid stuff, they should give nick -_- Any username should be allowed whatsoever.

I never said support or no support.

I would no support this, but there is a reason why. The reason being that many "bad words" are now common in youth's vocabularies. They don't even see them as bad words.

So for now, I will be neutral.

Bypass the pwn filter you get muted. Having a name that bypasses the pwn filter should also.

One name I'm glad to see gone is fastsex.
