Haven't played MC for a year+. Need help. [Resolved]

I probably won't even get noticed and I don't mind. But I'd like to play minecraft again which I suddenly stopped playing for over 8 months. I didn't WANT to but I can't! If you would kindly watch this video and tell me how to fix my minecraft that would be swell I have tried to reinstall and everything! Pls help.

 

its your render distance, go to the setings and change it until minecraft works again

 

I tried to do that for 5 minutes straight and it didn't work. But nice idea tho!

 

Try without Optifine? If it works, but lags, get the latest version of Optifine 1.8.7 at optifine.net/downloads.php

 

That version was full of glitches

 

Delete minecraft and reinstall and then do what the guy above me said.

Don't worry if it crashes sometimes. That's a bug they are yet to fix.
