Hello dear Members and Staffs. This thread goes for all european members. Well all Europeans might know, it is extremely hot right now. I've got a short story: Schriesheim, DE, 1st July 2015 40 degrees celsius. The streets are empty. Slowly flying flies are deadly falling to the ground. I walked through the streets to visit my friend. The sun burnt my in my eyes. My impression to the city was like an apocalypse would break out. I heared some shouting people, panicly. After I looked over to my friends house, it was about 400 feet away, I heared a huge explosion. I stopped abruptly. I turned myself around to see what happened. Again. People shouted loudly. I heared loud steps, a huge panic broke out. A few seconds later the stinky smell of gas reached my nose. Something huge exploded, near to me. I ran. To my friends house. It was to late to turn around. And here are some tips, how to 'survive' the sun's burning force: Never wear black or even dark colored stuff, when you exit the door. Save your eyes with sunglasses. If you don't have any sunglasses, try NOT to look into bright or glowing stuff. NOT TO LOOK INTO THE SUN PLEASE (a whole second can blend you. Two make you blind af) Wet your hairs if possible. Suntan creme guys... Drink as much as you can. Have a cold shower after the journey in hell. Close all doors at home, and pull down all shutters. I hope I helped some people with this. :3 *Olc
Thanks Olc. We're glad you survived, especially in a huge gas explosion. And this is key for summer. Especially if you live in an industrial area with gas houses. I should stay aware, as I am surrounded by them.
The world is a near end! Oh mighty lord forgive our sins! Brothers and sisters rejoice in repayment of our infractions to the lord! On a serious side, why run to your friend's house? You were either outside or at your house with your parent(s)/guardians home with you unless you had a fight. You value your friendship over family in this case? And my apologies goes out to the families involved with the gas explosion.
today when I went out (in black clothes bc i only wear black things) i felt like i was entering a microwave. Be careful lol
