[kingdom letters] What is the Kingdom? Kingdom is a mixture of custom ideas, faction commands ,and survival gameplay. The true idea behind this game-mode was having a small community create castles, towers, and etc -- but after much consideration and brain-storming, I decided to create a game-mode for this very purpose. What's the difference between Kingdom and Survival? Survival is very similar to singleplayer, but with a shop, claiming plugins and other players. You could build a massive tower, create town or community, and much more. However, the Kingdom is a purely role play/medieval game. Focusing mostly on medieval styled builds instead of modern structures. *(though you are allowed to create modern building work.)* What's the game-play like? You've just spawned in the Kingdom Enversia. Ruled by King Crocia and his wife Cyprosa. You're a peasant and have very little equipment. You can interact with the villagers and complete quests (more about that later). In-order to leave the kingdom, you must first become a town-member. Following by ''town-member'' is ''trader''. Traders have one-time only kit granting you (slightly) heavier gear and food. You're also allowed to use your donation kit. (more explained down below) You also have access to more areas within the Kingdom. After becoming a trader , you may rank up to ''Knight''. You have full access to every structure within the Kingdom of Enversia, and are also allowed to enter the Tournament arena (fancy word for PvP-Arena). You are finally allowed to leave the walls of Enversia, and your journey may begin. Along your journey you can find smaller kingdoms nearby. Some will treat you as enemies, some might welcome you. Though every kingdom or outpost will have missions for you to complete. (again, more will be explained later). The goal for every knight is to find resources which combined can create a pre-built camp. (by merging the items together, you can hold the camp in your hand as an item, place it on the ground, and it will generate within 10-30 seconds) <picture to be displayed when designs are finished> You're now a knight within the camp but aren't ready for a kingdom. The next rank however will bring you one step closer. ''Warlord''. You're able to use the command ''/k war declare'' (will explain more about Kingdom commands later) which will randomly allow you to join a war or use ''/k war accept''. After you've gathered enough resources to generate a Kingdom, your adventure as ruler may begin. Some structures will be generated, though you can always build structures of your own. You can challenge other Kingdoms to war or become allies in a larger campaigns against the Barbarians. What are quests? Players are allowed to accept or decline quests from NCP generated villagers, soldiers, etc. These quests will earn you coins (money) to rank up or purchase items from the market. A quest can be repeated every few hours. These quests could go from collecting a certain item, to saving villagers from a fire, and even fighting through barbarians. What are barbarians? Barbarians are from the kingdom Resoga, home of Lirtarien Emperor. The people of Enversia have been fighting the Emperor for centuries. Barbarians are often luring around in outposts within the map. Explaining the ranks. Though I've explained some parts about the rank system itself; I thought it would be appropriate to give a full detailed description of each rank. Peasant. Upon joining the server, you will be seen as a peasant. Lowest of the lowest. You must complete missions the villagers and Royal Guard cannot handle, in order to become a town-member. Kit: (kit starter) Leather armor. (1x) Half broken stone tools. (1) Apples (6) How to level up? (Peasant-Town-member) • Gather certain items and trade them for money to upgrade. Town-member. You are no-longer a peasant. You're recognized by the Kingdom as a town-member, and have access to more public areas a peasant wouldn't. You're granted currency and have access to purchase and sell items from the market. How to level up? (Town-member - trader) • Complete missions and sell items at the shop for enough money to upgrade. Trader. After proving worthy of a town-member, the Kingdom of Enversia has a little job for you. After battling the evil Barbarians underneath the Kingdom *SPOILERS* they have entrusted you with gathering resources for the Kingdom, only granted to special authorized people. A new feature is access to donations kits. The reason you're only given donation kits at this level is because everyone deserves an equal start. No advantages. The donation kits themselves are very limited, and will be explained later in this suggestion thread. You're also able to help knights along their way. Gather their lost items and gear *SPOILER MISSIONS*. After helping them, they will ask for your assistance in battling Barbarians in a nearby outpost. How to level up? (Trader-Knight) • Complete missions and sell items at the shop for enough money to upgrade. Complete the knighthood trials and obtain the three items to construct the Royal Crown. Knight. After completing the missions as a trader, you are given one out of three items to become a knight. You must collect all items in-order to create the ''Royal Crown''. One of the many items lost in the Kingdom of Enversia. The King will then recognize your superior ability and grand you the life of knighthood. You're given a worthy kit. Which you may use every 24 hours. (/kit knight) This kit contains the following items: Full iron armor set. (1) Diamond sword (1) Cooked pork. (32) Before a Knight may begin his/her journey, it is required to hand-over your letter of knighthood, and purchase a horse of your choice. The horse will be waiting at the Gates's-master. You may choose to ride it, or keep it there and protect it within the walls. Knight also has special access to the entire Kingdom. Including the PvP arena and bow-practice area. How to level up? (Knight-Warlord) • Complete missions and sell items at the shop for enough money to upgrade. Warlord. You've completed missions through forests, battled many Barbarians. Fought along-side fellow players and fallen before them. You're ready to create your own group. But not after gathering the materials to create a camp. These materials are custom within the server and can only be found by completing dangerous missions. Along your journey as a Knight and Warlord, you will find items belonging to the royal family of Esteria. These items may be collected and some will contribute in leveling up. to the next rank. You must return to Esteria and walk up the Forbidden Tower of Secret. There a sorcerer will combine the items for you require to create a camp. Your camp will be the food-hold of your Kingdom. It's where you will begin gathering troops and claiming your territory. After a 3 day peace-trial and gathering more resources, you are now allowed to declare war or accept a war declaration from another Kingdom/Warlord-camp. How to level up? (Knight-Warlord) • Complete missions and sell items at the shop for enough money to upgrade. You must also return the Sword of a thousand Souls. This item can be found by completing a certain mission. (*cough* defeat the Barbarian Commander that holds the blade *cough*) King. The final rank for non-donors is King. The road to becoming a King is very difficult. The amount of coins required is very large. And the item(s) you need to gather are difficult to obtain. You must walk up to the King with all the gathered items, and receive a special letter. The letter will give instructions to a hidden vault underneath the Kingdom. Inside the vault lie five items. The item you choose will determine what type of Kingdom you will own.
100% support. I think this would be awesome. However I don't really like the idea of Donor kits. Thats kinda like pay to win like all the other gamemodes..
Something I haven't explained yet (but soon will) is that donation kits are very limited. No protection 4 diamond armor will be given in any kit. Though more information will be revealed after editing the thread.
Based on this, I support. However, does that mean that you can only be allied with someone, and they can't be a part of your kingdom? Will there be physical cash or /bal money? I wanna help build or plan :>
Okay. So, recently I was building a castle on creative and thought of something like kingdoms. I AM SO HAPPY YOU SUGGESTED THIS. The detail you put into this is fantastic. I would be playing on it A LOT if it were to be added. Support, support, support!
