Wrong, you want something sturdy, preferably metal on the lid and frame possibly with a counter type deal leading off the edge of the bowl for placing prepared foods if you have enough room, as well as a dial thermometer, propane ignition but charcoal powered (not brickettes they suck) and variable temperature as well as two different grill levels, one near the flame for meats and one above for things like mushrooms, vegetables, buns, or some types of fragile fish. If you can find it, you might want one with extra propane storage and a built in garbage can for scraps or grizzle, as well as a wire brush for cleaning the grate if you don't have one around. Make sure to keep that grate clean, otherwise it'll get all gunked up with ashes and scraps. Above all make sure it's not a flimsy piece of garbage-again, metal construction is preferable, though good grills can get expensive. Home Depot often has them on sale though, so if you can find something good there that'll be nice. I'd recommend a Weber Performer Deluxe 22-in Black Porcelain Enamel Kettle Charcoal Grill which should be about 400 dollars, or, if you'd be willing to put out a bit more money, a Weber Genesis E-310 Espresso Porcelain Enamel 3-Burner (38,000-BTU) Liquid Propane Gas Grill should do, for $700. If you're ok with shelling out almost 2 grand, a Weber Summit S-470 4-Burner (48800-Btu) Liquid Propane Infrared Burner Gas Grill with Side and Rotisserie Burner Integrated Smoker Box is gonna be the way to go-definitely got everything you'll need, and more.
