Connection

Hello,

I have recently been having extreme ping issues on MV/Skyblock.net.

Has anyone else been having this problem? Before Noobcrew stated he had made changes, I averaged about 180ms(160-170 before that), and now I sit at either 210 or 270ms.

I have checked at all different times and played at times that people in Australia wouldn't be on, and still, it stays the same. It isn't my internet because I have maintained the same ping on other servers.

So, what's going on MV? :(

Check your computer for any viruses or check your internet provider for any issues?

Probably something with the server cus i switched from cox to AT&T but didnt change the plan or anything and now i get like 100 ms when i used to get 30ms

 

It's actually got better for me in the past few weeks.
Yeah come live in the UK, better connection yo

 

'trying' It's obviously not anything to do with his computer, if he's getting great ms with every other server OTHER than Mineverse then it is obviously something to do with Mineverse, I'm having the same problem also.

 

I'm getting 30-40.
So I'm not sure whats wrong.

Ping is to do with Internet, not computer, so check that.

 

I live in Canada but near new york, and had a good connection before, and now I have a slightly better connection after the change.

Where are the places that get bad ping?

 

I get 20-30 ms.

Its not the server, I later on found out that it was my crappy internet service. I just got Verizon FiOS, and now I get 6 ms. Huge bump from 344 ms to 6!!!

 

Probably in Australia, they have really bad internet service. Ever thought about that..?

 

Australia does but it's extremely ironic that as soon as Crew stated that he 'made changes', my ping increases from what was already terrible, to even worse - 170 to 220/260

 

I have the exact same problem, even though I live in Australia, I used to get about 170-180ms(3-4 bars on MV) just today I was getting 280-300ms (1 bar on MV!)

 

Well I just checked today, and I get 31ms. So I'm guessing that is my average, as the playing is like that most of the time. Although I was on my mac and the screen movement was off, it was weird to play :/

 

He made a huge change, the ping has gotten better. Move to the U.S if you really want better ping. The ISP's at Australia probably suck really bad tbh, since they get bad ping to every server.

 

Move to the US over Minecraft? lmao.

So we deserve to get even worse ping? That isn't fair just so that Americans can have a beast ping. I suggest that he changes it back to how it was.
