OK, I Can't take this anymore.... Just add the /report command! HACKERS EVERYWHERE. on Infection. Cypriot, You don't want to ruin this server, right? I'm pissed because off hackers. They kept denying they hack. And even if we report, mods take a long to look at it, which when the hackers can so scot-free.
Why not just record them, and If you can't, why not get a recording software?besides. Even if this is implemented, it's still going to take the mods a while. And if it takes action on the spot, it can be abused to get people that someone just doesn't like banned.
LMAO hackers take to long to get banned you go bloody report a opfacs hacker or kitpvp or op pvp for example infection yes plenty hackers add the command please Cypriot the server is being over run with hackers and you saw what happened to Prison when a big hacker joined.
You're missing the point.... This can be abused in an extremely terrible way... How can you not see that? If the effects are put on the moment the command is typed in it's like Cyp just promoted everyone who plays the server to mod
All that will happen is many people out of anger, rage, annoyance, by a grudge, or just plain trolling will abuse and spam the command while there are no hacks. The mods will be overwhelmed with false reports. Another thing is how do you put the evidence in? Sure you can say someone was hacking, but there needs to be cold hard evidence. No support. What needs to be done is more mods. Although I haven't seen many hackers, so I guess it's fine for now, or at least it works.
But thats the main point. What mod will look anyway because the main point is being able to ban someone without a moderator.
The command could bring up a chest looking tab with items named certain things eg. "kill aura" as an iron sword. Just like Badlion. Also, a 5 minute cool down.
You people don't seem to realize that no matter what cool-down is put in place it can still be greatly abused..
What if a mod isn't on Wario? And what if the person turns their hacks off while the mod is there, then turns them back on when they leave?
hey guys, want to know why this command is successful for servers like badlion? perhaps because they have 5 admins which are on every day and about 50 mods which no life to do reports and such, do we have that? hell no. i'm usually tolerant of suggestions but this one is just idiotic and it's quite obvious it won't work to the slighest, seeing we have moderators which cypriot and crew can't even trust.
This can be solved by watching them all the time here and there. And if the mods want they can go on an alt or something and check there or just keep watching the player out of sight.
You can't give any evidence with /report if anything, that would take longer as the mods would have to go to the player and see their hacks themselves. But I do understand it gets so annoying with the amount of hackers. Lots of people have a ton of alts so even if they do get banned they just come back again and again. I wish hacking resulted in a IP ban.
