and i have just witnessed a player on the survival server propositioning multiple underage kids multiple times, with a staff member who had been notified to the situation multiple times but refused to do anything about it, continuing to joke around with select players through this whole ordeal. If you have the rank of moderator and you see a problem that is serious going on right in front of you, why don't you moderate a little bit and resolve some major issues that could wind up getting this group of MC servers known as mineverse in legal trouble? the last words to be given on said issue from the staff member involve include, "ill keep an eye on it". if that isn't lack of moderation from someone holding the rank of moderator i don't know what is. If at all someone would like to do something about this i can at that time provide proof of these occurrences. otherwise i doubt posting a normal report will do anything worthwhile not only to the players involved but the staff and his/her lack of moderation over obvious events in front of him/her.
Moderators will warn players, but they can't ban without proof. Provide evidence, an IGN, and a description of the rule broken, and A mod will eventually take over. http://www.mineverse.com/forums/reports.85/
im saying the mod was already in-game at least 20 minutes prior to said event, saw it happened because there is times where in the proof im providing of said player soliciting a minor for sex, that you can see the moderator continuing to converse with select players, joking ETC ETC
Yah man, these <Edited> moderators man, <Edited> them all man. These <edited> mods are so <Edited> lazy man. Instead of complaining about this mystery moderator, you should have been gathering evidence. Then you could have made a report on the player and the mod. You would have been a hero and saved mineverse by getting rid of this nonsense. Think of the children .... man.
i have plenty of seconds of video of about 10 minutes going by and this player soliciting a minor for sex as the mod in question does nothing but joke around with select players. i would just like to know why this is allowed to happen in the first place as A. soliciting anyone for sex im sure is illegal in most countries let alone for minors it certainly is. not only is that degrading to the owners of this group of servers, but its degrading to everyone who plays on here to have to see that and put up with it knowing nothing will happen because of it. the same player is still online hours after this as well still making the same remarks towards others.
I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish by making this thread. If you feel a Moderator isn't doing his/her job correctly, then report them. It's one thing to make accusations, and it's another to actually have solid proof, and do something with it.
im trying to ensure that next time a minor is solicited for sex on the group of servers you play on, that the mod witnessing the event will think twice before a simple "ill keep an eye on it" is given as their response to the situation. im sure he/she knows who they are and hopefully will step their game up so to speak solve major issues unfolding before them.
That's the point in reporting a staff. If you feel that a staff is in that event and not doing anything it's when you come in and report.
Maybe the moderators should probably take this into consideration rather than just saying "report the staff member." Remember when you guys complained about being reported? Well this is why. Listen to these threads. This is the community you guys are moderating. You signed up for this, now do what you said you were going to do.
