Tempban this, but it will be hard to catch them. People can easily snipe into the spawn from sniper spots.
Actually, when I was still a premium, gods and titans used to team up in like groups of 5 just to spawn kill or block all the exits to spawn. OP. Support.
Spawn camping should be made kickable, not bannable at first. Only bannable after the offender has repeated the action multiple times.
Support. The zombies don't get a chance living for like 5 seconds. Zombies spawn and die? Zombies are in the game to make it fair.
No support. This could easily be fixed by removing fire aspect. Also how would the staff define what spawn-killing is, and what it is not. For example how close to spawn would spawn-killing be considered? Would standing in top of spawn on Coast Cliff, or Argenthan be illegal? If so then the whole spawn would have to be fixed. Would shooting at spawn be illegal? Honestly, this rule is too complicated. I do see your point about it getting out of hand, but removing fire aspect would most likely solve the problem here. Because of how complicated this rule would be it should only result in a kick at most. Maybe a six hour ban. EDIT: A better solution would be to deny PvP within a two to ten block radius.
Really? Removing spawn killing? No way. I don't support. What do you want to do? Ruin infection more? Games will end quicker thus donators have to wait for there kit and the weirdest times. No way....
Woopdido. It will take longer to get your kit. Spawn killing IS ruining Infection. I don't know what you're on, but making spawn camping against the rules would actually improve Infection.
My kit is what I donated for -_-. Making spawn camping bannable would be SO hard to moderate. You think there's gonna be a moderator on every minute for it? You think a player would be bothered to report them for something so stupid? Spawn killing is NOT ruining infection. MY opinion. End of story. I couldn't care less if you wanted it in, I'm letting out my opinion for it which is why this thread is made for people's opinions
I totally agree that moderators would not be able to handle spawn killing if it were banned 24/7 and I get that you want to have your kit every round. But looking at the idea of spawn killing from someone who doesn't have enough money to buy a donor rank or simply doesn't want to may say, "If I can't live for a few seconds just to escape the spawn without being killed I think there should be a way to stop that." Infection has always been a Pay-to-Win game where donors have always been the people to outlast others, and in this case, easily overpower the zombies by camping their spawn. Other people have suggested alternative ways to ensure or demotivate people to spawn kill by making the spawn point extremely hard to get to. My take on the way to prevent spawn killing is to add a temporary invincibility on zombies so that they can escape spawn without being harmed. Zombies are in the game so that it's actually a challenge.. not so donors and other players could have a kill-fest gaining nothing out of killing what was intended to make the game interesting until the round is over.
I think since fire was removed spawn killing went lower and lower. Like when there was no fire on ranks people hardly spawned killed. Once fire came upon people started doing it due to oppness and rolfs. Once donors that spawn killed realized that fire is gone most likely if they try to spawn kill they will die most likely faster.
As I said before, simply deny PvP within 2-10 blocks of spawn, an/or remove fire aspect from all ranks, and prestiges.
