staff appreciation thread B) @PopIs_MyLife Pops was promoted to staff sometime around October. I think he was staff till about mid December? He got demoted for certain reasons that I know, but I'm not going to share. After he was demoted he started to create alts on the forums and harass people. His main account was banned until February, and until then he continued to harass people. He got so much hate for what he did. People blamed him. KittyGotClawz and a few other accounts were known for harassing people. He didn't make those accounts. I made them and I told him to do that stuff. Besides that, I'm sick of people saying that he did that and some people still bring it up. Let's make it clear that his account never should of been banned and no one should of ever blamed him and you should of blamed me. I feel really bad about how everyone got mad at him and judged him for being a rude person when it was my idea and I caused it. So for everyone who still brings it up on MV and on SB, please stop. Because Pops is the nicest, friendliest, funniest, and most caring person that I know. He might not be active on all of the servers other than the ones he moderates but he should be promoted to global moderator. He's kind to everyone, he's friendly and helpful to everyone. And no offfense but it seems like all we do is worship fryzigg as the best moderator. Fry is never online and thats that. Pops is obviously the best moderator on here, along with Mega & Larry. He never leaves anyone out, he never excludes anyone, he doesn't judge people, he's simply amazing. I think when he was demoted people lost some respect for him. We all make mistakes and he quickly learned from his. He makes everyone happy, and listens to everyone's ideas. He also deserves Head Guard. He might not be the most active moderator on prison, but he certainly deserves it for the social and experience part. He's very very funny. He does his best to put people in good moods. For people who say he isn't active on prison well you're wrong because he's online a hell of a lot & u r obviously just not paying attention. He also deserves head moderator because he knows exactly what he's doing and how do it. He'd be the best head moderator, and the best head guard. No offense to the other moderators but he's the only moderator who actually listens to players.. He never ever ever ignores anyone. Simply one of the best f**king moderators a server can have (B. Well, few things on this. He hasn't been here long enough to be Head Mod, knowing what you're doing has nothing to do with it. I know the command, I know how to catch hackers and I know the forum stuff. Doesn't mean I should be Head Mod. He is amazing and all, but he shouldn't be Head Mod. Pops, I love you. Don't take any of this personally. Anna, you over exaggerated on this. All in all, Pops is a great Mod, just not ready for Head Mod. In my opinion.
No way, the last thing mineverse wants is a spiteful hateful individual with authority who is following stupid suggestions and creates alts to harass people. How do we know that you are not one of his alts who is using a proxy to hide his ip? If someone has displayed such behavior he shouldn't be on the server/forums at all. Feel free to dislike, it's easier than providing arguments especially when you got nothing to say By disliking you agree that hateful persons who go into the extend of creating multiple accounts to harass people should have authority. Idiocracy is inevitable.

Deeds speak louder than words, you can say whatever you like, what you do is what matters. Why should we believe you since you admit that you are the moral author of the harassment campaign? Why should we believe your or his buddies? There is a saying that the old folks have, "Show me your friend and I'll tell you who you are" which simply means, you and your friends are the same.
Everybody makes mistakes, regardless of who they are. Pops made a mistake and he was punished. He owned up to his mistake and apologized. We moved on (until now) and continue with our duty. I dont get threads like this. You want to basically tell everyone that your favourite staff member deserves all these roles... but at the end of the day we all know that this is completely bias. This is something that could have been said privately. I think its rude when people single out one mod to publicly praise when the team works together a fair lot for the players. I mean pops must magically mod game modes he is not mod on...right? Its only him who works hard for the server right? But since this is a staff appreciation thread, let me appreciate staff who havent been mentioned yet. @Alexa @Ares_Xena @bananaman11223 @canucksfan44 @fryzigg @ImTubeless @larrythebird101 @Lola Perez @Mega @melgrath @PandaBear__ @Paradox @xSoulHero You all are also wonderful staff and deserve appreciation. For the work you put in on the server, clearing up the forums, answering queries, trying to make the server a better place. Appreciation for the ones that worked hard and became global mods, the ones who acted in roles above them, and for those who consistently offer support for other mods and players. And of course our admin and sever owner who make this place playable and enjoyable. Peace
I have stopped seeking perfection long long ago on this server. When a person displays such behavior he is too immature to be in any position of authority. When someone goes to the extend of creating alts to harass people that shows a spiteful individual who hold grudges and doesn't mind breaking the rules in order to get what he wants. As you admitted you have seen Cypriot promoting bad people, I agree to that, our difference is that I don't believe that people change with an apology or with a ban. I have seen as recently as 2 days ago that this mod is applying the server's rules selectively, and I have no reason to believe that this person is suitable to be a mod. You may like to believe that the past should be left behind but the truth is that present is elusive and the future still uncertain, only the past matters.
Bottom line. Regardless of what I say about Pop, my experience with him isn't so bad as to be reported and frankly I don't believe that a report would solve anything. The server's rules can be upheld only by people who value justice over friendships and so far I haven't seen that happening here. I have reported in the past a global mod for much much greater abuse of power, my report remained unresolved for 20+ days and at the end I received a reply in the form of "everyone does mistakes, we should move on etc" the report was closed and nothing had happened.
