Honestly things have been bland recently. The evil community, the resigning staff, unfinished gamemodes, old and boring ideas. It's been hard to put into words. I have started to stray away from the server, but all I really want is the best for the community. It's going to be hard to put this thread into words with all my ideas, but I'll try my best. First off, mods. The majority of all mods promoted have either been demoted, or they resigned. Cyp and Crew keep promoting people to replace mods that are gone. They need more mods. I'm currently staff on a server with only 50-150 people on at a time, and there is usually 2-3 staff members on and this server can't do much better even with 10 times as many players. I know the mods always have the excuse 'mods have lives too' and I understand that. Some mods are decently active, some mods aren't. With a server that has 500-1500 people on at one time, there needs to be more staff. What I was thinking is if there were to be more staff ranks such as: helper, helper+, mod, mod+, . Idk, but having more ranks on mineverse would be a good idea. Second, unfinished game modes. OP prison has been out for months, yet I have not seen many significant additions. It's been 5 months and Ares still isn't finished? I mean seriously, this is just ridiculous. Secondly, factions. Parts of factions spawn you can't even fight, people can just enderpearl away (no cooldown of course), splash pots don't work at spawn, chests aren't openable in enemy territory, economy is outbalanced, shop doesn't have spawners, and this list just goes on and on. Kitpvp. Spawn is a cave in the mountain, hackers everywhere, hit detection is horrible, lag is horrible, default kit is underpowered. Mini games. No mods moderate there, bedwars glitches, and lack of players. Prison. Ranks are retarted, plots are all taken, everyone is too op, free world is old. The list goes on and on and I don't know where to end it. I know there are going to be a lot of mod suck-ups replying to this thread and I don't care, I just want the best for the server. Third. Outdated. Dear CypriotMerks, if you were to check out other servers these days, you would notice they are much more visually appealing. I'm not sure if you have ADD or something, but I honestly think that you could spend a little time fixing up colours of the server, MOTDS, scoreboards, voting links. An example of this might be: ========================================================================= Hello (Name here), we have noticed you haven't voted for us today. Please vote at vote.mineverse.com for some cool rewards! ========================================================================= Scoreboards on factions, prison, and maybe kit pvp would be a very nice addition. For example: ============= IP: mineverse.com Ping: 211 Players Online: 40 Balance: 4m ============= Sorry if this thread comes across as rude, but honestly I just want the best for the community of the server, and I know that Cyp and Crew have the ability to turn this server over and make it fantastic. This server needs a lot of work, and my suggestion is that Cyp/Crew hire some professional developers to help with the anaesthetic side of the server, as well as helping to finish off the unfinished game modes. This server really needs improvement and I want to see it flourish before I come back, because as of now, if nothing is done, I will be quitting.
A mod should move this to the rant section, though I agree totally with your claims. So many unfinished things on this amazing server. Cypriot and Crew must make an effort to improve the server.
The admins we have currently are just not enough, like seriously, almost all huge servers have Administrators. This server only has 2..! I know its hard to look for new admins because it takes time and trust to put into someone. But admins are indeed needed in order for the server to develop. For example, I feel that @TannerLittle is a very trustworthy guy, and I feel like he deserves a shot on being a operator. He knows how to code, which makes him a very strong applicant for the job. Not just that, he has been working for the server quite a while now, his powers are limited. If you don't feel like having TannerLittle as an admin, I doubt you would be looking for others to take the roll of administrator. Besides, if you make Terrick admin (Which I already think he is, secretly) , and not to be rude or anything, he wouldn't get the job done. I say look for hardworking dedicated people to put them to the test, and most importantly give @TannerLittle a chance. Not to sure if he is interested in becoming an admin, but I believe he would be one hell of a good one. @CypriotMerks & @Noobcrew , you guys are both great and all, but I feel like you guys need a helping hand, and believe it or not. Two administrators is quite frankly not enough. Also @TADS4/ _tomathan , put yourself in their shoes. They know what's going on, and they're busy people, Try to understand that. You may think they're just trying to slide through all these issues, which they may have. But if you were in their shoes, you would have to come up with a quick solution, before anything goes out of hands. You have no idea what happens in the background of what Cyp and Noob have to deal with. The way I view things is by putting myself in someones shoes, before judging/criticizing them. An idea for the current admins we have now should invest their time in looking for new admins, that are dedicated and hard working. Which can hopefully turn the server around, and make the server reach its full potential. I highly recommend for this to be taken into consideration, and I wish you people a good day. I know I don't usually take threads seriously, but what the heck.. this came first to my eyes, and it fascinated me a bit.
You never know who to trust. Reasons why they don't usually pick unpopular applicants. If they have supporters/votes, which usually means they have a good reputation in game. Unless they payed all their voters, which I highly doubt. Considering no one would do that, unless they're rich.. or they just steal their parents credit card.
Larry is one of the best mods and most active, but this is about the opposites of her. And even more on top of that
You deserve a reply for simply mentioning my name in the manner you did. I understand people have their opinions, however, again, behind the scenes you have zero clue what's going on as well. Your opinion of tanner is yours, which may very well differ from mine, let alone what I do. The things I do are the things I do, whether I let people see that or not, nor should I care if they do know, as it's not to my care whether people know that I do things. In the long run, there's plenty you've assumed was done out of someone elses hard work, but have little clue as to what I've done. Long story short, I'll never be an admin, I do not wish to, and I will continue to do the same as I always have been, and that's just being me. I don't play the servers, I have very little care for them, but when it comes down to doing things to help two friends who I've known for ages, I'll push my cares aside not for the players but for them. So yeah, you're right, I wouldn't get things done, as I don't think I'd bother accepting such a position whether or not it may seem as if I have one now.
Another problem is people are loosing there ranks, I have lost my rank on survival and I'm titan and ever since survival reset I lost my rank
Maybe you changed your minecraft in game name? Change it back to your original IGN and it should be fixed.
I would do that, but I've made lots of progress with this new name so I don't want to, and Noobcrew have me Titan rank cause I lost it when I changed name on Op prison
