Cyp promotes 6 new moderators, everyone happy.
20 later another thread like this.. I do agree that some gamemodes miss moderators but why make another thread like this? First you are happy now mad that we miss moderators..

That is why. Remember when we had at least 6-9 mods on? Look at this now.

 

Despite the fact I'm taking care of somebody (real-life) who is on the edge of dying; I still manage to go on Survival for hours helping the conmunity. Last night tho I was worn out and took the night off.

I'm hoping to expand to another server soon, to help non-moderated servers and such.

I do not consider you inactive. You dedicate so much of your time to this server, that I don't know why anyone would say you're inactive. And with all the work you've done, I think you deserve a cool down. So don't worry about people thinking you're inactive, you are one of the most active mods here.

 

I agree gizz. You know me. You know that I play KitPvP alot. When I am online, I never see a mod. Last time I saw a mod on, it was Fnatic_Paradox. That was a week ago, and he was afk for about 3 hours. I rarely see mods on OPFactions. But Prison is pretty set. I see mods there daily.

 

Well, we have had 2 demoted and 1 resign. So we lost 3 in the past month.


As for my input on this, we need more Factions Mods, there is so much flame war and cussing, but no one to handle it. KitPvP still has a decent amount of Mods, but not active enough. There is barely any active Mods on the servers I play, and Factions only has Global Mods that don't even play it.

I agree, there are a few number of mods. The only thing I am intersed and puzzled by, is the act that some said they would be active on that particular server for like 2-3 hours a day, yet, "___ has been offline for 2 days 1 hour

 

I disagree as well. They're not known in the community and after spending a bit of time around there, Krissy is the only mod there that I liked.

 

Agreed. SB players for a Factions server, come on now. We need actual active players for the servers. Of course it would be good to have more Mods overall on Factions, KitPvP and many others, but we need the Mods to be from MV who know the commands on Factions or how to catch combat hackers. No disrespect towards SB Mods at all, but I just think we should have promo's from within MV.

 

I never said I was happy? Tin, I don't think you recognised the point of this thread. Even after promotions there was still timezones and servers that were neglected. Cyp didn't promote globals either.

2 of these newly promoted mods have been demoted. Factions for example has no specific mods. The factions Gamemode is in dire need of a dedicated mod like Elric was.

When you say "another thread like this", you could at least elaborate. This is the only thread I've seen recently and I have made it due to a valid reason? Mods are needed and no offence to Cyp but I don't think he is around long enough to recognise this(I'm saying he is too busy to see this) and so, I and the opinions of those on this thread will convey this message to him.

Ares, you're amazing. This isn't a thread to point out that mods are 'inactive', it's to say that we need more across different timezones. You don't need to explain this to us, I've seen you online a lot(on survival) and you're doing perfect.

I see mods in the American timezone on KitPvP, but that only covers about 1/3 of the day.

I know I'm applying for Kit, and I don't want to sound desperate but really, the mods who are mod on KitPvP only cover American timezones.

Hmm.. Some may have reasons but others may just be that they aren't as active as they stated.. I'm not very sure about this.

 

I do understand what are you trying to say in this thread. We miss mods in some gamemodes such as Factions and OpFactions.

 

Exactly, the times I stay up till 4AM on MV we have NO Mods on at all. Not on Kit or Factions. It would be good for some new promo's.

 

I log on during my Australian afternoons on school and server jump to do kits, check who is online, ect. I see HeyitsAlexa occasionally and that is it.

 

I would like to suggest for cyp that he promotes one moderator for each timezone in the world (if people applied for that timezone).

 

Oh, one more thing.

I don't understand what I did to you. You act like I am this really bad guy, but in reality you faked the screenshot on my App. I'm sorry for whatever I did to you, but please stop treating me like I'm nothing.

 

And if there are people that apply for Mod in those time zones, but aren't eligible?
