Hiya, it's me Elric. I'd like to speak about the factions game-mode, it needs a lot of work done on it, yes. I'd like to suggest a few plug-ins and suggest ways to fix some problems. First: I'd love to marry the love of my dreams, blazingpanda12. He's extremely handsome in everyway, unfortunately... I can't be bothered to go on a bus and go to his town but... we could implement a marriage system so we get more benefits! Permissions Teleport to partner XP Boost when near partner faster health regeneration when near partner Shared Home with partner Private Chat with your partner Marry players through a priest or yourself Enable/Disable PvP with you partner Ability to kiss your partner (with particle effect on 1.7 and newer) Gift Items to your partner View all married Option to enable the need to accept the marriage Optional vault support (for permissions and economy) Chat prefix Surnames These are all of the wonderful perks of being married, wonderful isn't it? Second: Wouldn't it be great to kill someone and get their head? Sure enough, we already bountying but that's too easy... With headhunter you get to kill some one for their head (25% chance), if you choose to claim the head you also get 5% of their balance! Amazing! Sure enough, you could choose to keep the head but that'd be... no money.. Third: More spawners in the shop! Currently we can only get about 5 types of spawners, Zombie, Skeleton, Blaze, Pig and Spider. Wouldn't it be great if we had a more larger variety of spawners? I suggest we add: Iron Golem $500k Wolf $250k Villager $800k Slime $200k Witch 500k Lastly, I believe you should try fix up the permissions. Currently, you can still not open chests in claimed area if you mess around with the permissions. Thanks for reading!
I see a huge concern with the marriage plugin. People are going to advertise "Who wants to marry me," and when someone does, they'll teleport to them = ez raid/kill.
I was also thinking it'd be too OP but then again, for an iron golem spawner to be OP you'd need about 5 and I doubt anyone would risk putting 2.5m in their base. That already happens with tp trapping, it's not a forced tp it's still requested. Thanks.
This is would be a great addition to factions. I think this would make factions flourish. However the marriage plugin seems a bit skeptical. As Agent said, they can marry someone then tp to the players base, and bang bang, ez raid.
Well I would assume you wouldn't. However, the bond won't stick forever. Maybe some day they'll tp, set a home, raid it when they aren't on, and blame it on someone else
Well then that's too bad when you marry someone you basically give all permissions to them if you don't want to don't marry then simple this argument is invalid.
