I agree with what larry said, /v can be useful such as they can catch hackers easily because the hackers will carry on hacking if there are no moderators on but if there is then they'll stop. I'm debating whether to support or not.
If they see a mod they turn it off, that's the point. We are meant to trust our mods. We aren't meant to sit here and think that they would abuse every little thing thrown their way. If they abuse, and are caught, they would face demotion. As previously said this could only be given to global mods as they are the most trusted.
You have to give it to all mods not just global. Global mods are not more trusted, they just happened to get promoted before cyp said no more global mods.
He doesn't have to give it to all mods? He could give it to just global mods considering that soon he stated that he might promote certain 2 server-ed mods to globals. We shouldn't be doubting our mods anyway. This shouldn't be abused. This is an extremely helpful command for catching hackers. Heck, even if this was only to be added to KitPvP and OP PvP(being the main PvP servers), it'd help the mods out a ton.
Before I was staff, mods had it. It was abused. It was removed. It's not getting added back. Already discussed that with cyp long ago. Thats all folks.
You see, It's not a problem for cyp to give the mods that command lol he just doesn't want them to have it because they will be in /v all the time and not do their job. I agree with you to get /v for hackers but it won't happen as Scofu said.
