If you ask for evidence, you will get it. Mods have to have evidence and give if asked and thats already a given. I believe players have at least 48 hours when providing evidence in case their are troubles, they are busy and to move reports along. Mods should get that too in case they have technical problems and gives time to discuss and so appeals dont drag out. However I think lobby bans should have the 24 hour limit since game mode bans still allow other game mods - not a total denial of the server. Though imo ban appeals go faster and much more effectively if people owned up to the fault rather than making mods jump hoops because they cannot own up. And if they genuinely were banned wrongly the mod that did the ban will be told. So I partially support.
I'm saying if the player decides to appeal, the moderator that banned him/her must show the evidence before 24 hours or the player would be unbanned. If evidence is shown the appeal will go like it does regular.
Moderators usually show evidence. If they cannot provide proof of why they are banned then the player is entitled to an unban.
Not all moderators are angles. Some moderators ban without evidence. When asked for the evidence they make up this "leaking information" excuse.
