I think moderators should have to apply evidence for the ban to the player that was banned, therefor if a moderator banned myself I'd ask for the evidence, if the moderator doesn't give clear enough evidence after 24 hours the player will be unbanned. This should be applied on Mineverse due to people thinking that they were banned incorrectly or muted incorrectly. If the moderator does give clear enough evidence on why they banned the player than the player would have to appeal, and therefor.

When a player appeals the person who banned the player must show the player the evidence.

Yes yes, I agree. A moderator should feel obliged to provide the evidence to the punished player (If they wish). Support!

It's not if they feel like it, they have to.

I guess that could be the case, I still support. A banned player should deserve the right to see the evidence.

I think they should be able to see the evidence if they make a ban appeal.

Moderators usually log their bans. It should be pretty easy to provide evidence so I don't understand why they don't.

I've seen other servers do this kind of thing and it works like a charm when it comes to ban appeals/etc. It's very easy to do and it helps in the long run.
