The point of this thread is to get rid of many new people ( D-prisoners) asking the same

HOW DO I GET A PLOT
There is a simple answer, make a warp where there are signs saying how to get a plot, then you make another notice, like the voting one, saying something like

" if you want a plot go to /warp ploth. This will show you how!"

This helps because it is the main asked questions so it is spammed.

Using this notice will reduce

Or tell them to check on the forums, or simply explain it to them. Either way, you would have to explain to them to go to that warp. The spam won't subside because of a warp, you will still see them asking and will have to respond with "Go to /warp plotsh to see how" or "check the forums in the help section" or actually explain how. While your idea is not a bad idea, I just feel it is a variation of the same solution of ones that are already present.

 

Listen, they always ask, but if a player tells them, it's no help. If it's a notice they know its the servers and can warp there which is faster, I would even help build it. The point is that if everyone on is a D prisoner and mods/ guards are AFK, this notice will help the spam going on

How is it no help when a player is on and tells them, last night I told two new people about plots that were along, no one was answering them, not even the two staff online, i explained, they thanked me and stopped. Sure a notice could help a but so does taking two seconds to respond to people. Thats what I'm saying.

 

It took me a while to figure out prison. That doesn't mean I'm not annoyed by the noobs.

 

But that's what I'm saying, even staff don't answer! It can't be up to just you can it? I barely see you on anyways. The point is that they automatically (without help) can learn how plots work

 

This wont reduce spam. People are allowed to ask questions and people should be answering them if they wish to. Staff cant be on 24/7, you have to help them.

This thread is handy for those who choose to read the forums, but not so much for those who dont. They want a quick answer, not to read a thread.

But if you want to link them to this thread, by all means, thats how you choose to help.

 

But explaining this is hard, this thread is not for help, this a discussion weather we should have a notice showing the warp to a room of signs showing how to get a plot
