I know this is like, idiotic to some people, but having Skywars as one of my favorite games on Mineverse, I am pretty pissed. So I got muted on skywars for who knows how long because this DEVELOPER or whatever decided to get butthurt after my sister got on and talked to him. BACK STORY: (For those who care.) So I was playing SW with my friends as usual bleh bleh bleh, I just had started a game and this guy knocks me off the island, WHEN ALL MY FRIENDS (All 3 of them) and I were in the same game! This happens rarely, since we usually get separated in games, but no, this one had all of us. So I, annoyed and pissed af, spammed this guy who killed me a few times with 'are you kidding me'. Then this developer decides to waltz in and say 'Enjoy your mute! =)' I have to admit, I was super pissed at this point. I went into the lobby and my sister asked me whats wrong. I told her what happened and she offered to sort it out with him. She gets on and asks him how long my mute is, HE SAYS ITS PERMANENT. He also claims he 'warned' me, which is not true whatsoever. So basically, after doing nothing wrong on skywars since I first joined, I get perma muted. My little sister is legit awesome sauce and knew I wouldnt put up with a perma mute. She talked with this guy and he removed it. Then, she said I called him arrogant, which is %100 true. I never told her to say I said it, but she did because she was trying to get back at this... developer so she did. Then he gets his feelings hurt by a 10 yr old girl and adds my mute back.. so now I am held accountable for my LITTLE SISTERS messages as well? This guys' a complete butthurt idiot! He obviously was not cooperating with us at all so my sister left on the note saying that he WAS indeed arrogant. Then she logged off. I am pretty sure he got upset about it and added back my perma mute, Ill know by tomorrow. But knowing from his first impressions on me and my sister, I feel as if I am perma muted. As you can see this is completely unfair and I will not stand for a perma mute, ON MY FAVORITE SERVER. I find it amazingly preposterous how he took my sisters actions and put the consequence upon me, Im also very confused NoobCrew would let a doppelganger like this work on this server. Be careful what you say on the internet. It's partially your fault because your sister called Tanner "arrogant." Also you had to let your sister use your account?
As a staff member I am required to only punish users with proper reason. I am not required to do so, though I will enlighten you as to why you received a mute. You spammed another player a rude capped message, and after you sent it over 25 times (and counting) I kicked you with a warning message. The moment you came back online you continued the same spam, obviously not deterred in any way, and thus you got a permanent mute. When your sister messaged me about how upset you were and how it seemed it was an honest mistake (although you did receive an obvious warning), I reduced the mute to 24 hours. Calling me arrogant and a butt-hurt idiot didn't affect my judgement, though is certainly unnecessary and could easily get you banned on the forums or server, I won't go that far though.
