Lets kick it off with PCs! Pros: -Great cheap . - More are written for them. - Can do "almost" anything a Mac can. - Makes a great computer all together Cons: - Can overheat every once in a while (laptops) - Are very cheap computers. This means that the quality will not be fantastic. It will be "ok". - Can be very laggy while playing Minecraft and run at around 20 fps for smaller PCs to 60 fps to better one. Now, this framerate is "ok" but it is not the best. - Can not run many applications at once without affecting gameplay or overall speed. - More virus' are written for PCs than Macs which means that the PC will more likely have virus'. - Internal system is very basic. PCs have a very simple interior which makes them not the best computers for multi-tasking. - Lots of pop ups for things happen that can be very annoying. -Lots of wires, and can be really messy sometimes. Now lets get to Macs! Pros: - Great speed, and FPS for any application. - Easy setup with only a power cord. Just plug it in and go! - Runs around 100 - 140 FPS on Minecraft. This is on my iMac I bought a year ago. - Minecraft runs smoother on a Mac and can handle more things at the same time without losing performance. - A better choice when playing Minecraft. - Has a sleek design and is more thought out than PCs. - Very easy to use the computer and very organized. The only downside I have seen while running my Mac: Through my experience, about 1/5 of the programs I want to use are only runnable on PCs.( Although there are apps in Macs that allow them to run as a Windows computer as well at the same time.) Also, before you go and say "Well, PCs are made for gaming and Macs can't play any games!" You are wrong. Macs did not focus on games much in their past years because they were busy on important things such as programming performance, display, and relatively more important things than gaming. Now, when PC users started using this as a complaint against them, they easily boosted their gaming performance far past expected standards. So, if I had a choice which one would I pick? I would definitely without second thought pick the Mac. It offers ( in my view ) more potential, gaming performance, and much more than the PC does. It is more "personal", well built, and effective than a PC. I had no problems with my Mac, yet I had lots with my PC. Overall, I have had a much better gaming performance with Macs than PCs. If you disagree with this, please tell in a "nice, mature, tone" way in the comments. Thanks for reading.
Customized gaming PC with ventilation systems, high performance CPU and graphics card, and other great features. Versus. An apple.
Op's post gave me cancer. "- Internal system is very basic. PCs have a very simple interior which makes them not the best computers for multi-task" wat "-Lots of wires, and can be really messy sometimes." Wut..? Do you mean like keyboard and mouse wires? Op, you forgot to put a con for mac expensive
I have a toshiba and it's really good for Minecraft. I run 40fps with shaders, 90fps in KitPvP spawn and 130-180 when I'm running about. PCs are better for Minecraft.
I just said that they're better for Minecraft since you were talking about Minecraft. I think PC is better in general, easy for work, you get microsoft office and many other stuff
I agree that Macs are not built for gaming. Though this does not mean that it can't game at all. If you're going to PvP a lot with a mac like me, I suggest getting a mouse and a keyboard is optional. Plus, if you're on a normal standard PC, not those custom gaming pcs, you'll get less lag spikes or non at all.
