I not sure, but I'm pretty sure you can do /lobby (number) so that you could find the player if they were on. Would be a little tedious, but pretty easy to do.
I'm pretty sure this will be added soon, it seems both the developer and owner have interest in this command. :>
I know you thought of this thread but really :P. Supporting your own thread . In other servers when people have /friendlist it shows what friends they add are on or offline. If that player is on the player clicks on their name and goes to that server wherever they are.
I was just playing around and yeah, perhaps that could be a shortcut that may work for the time being. :D
