Introduction Okay I know I am going to get lots of hate for this, but Infection is dead. People are leaving left and right, the maps have gotten worse, and honestly, I am starting to hate it as well.-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Maps The maps in infection are totally ruined. I know Noob and Cypriot tried to make them better, but They ruined some of the maps. Take Nuketown for example. This map used to be very big, looked like an actual nuke town, and you could hide on/in the bigger buildings. Now, they have cut off half the map, they got rid of buildings, and its almost impossible as a human to get up onto the better spots of the map. Next is Jungle. Jungle was never really a great map. Before, you could camp in the trees and knock people off that were climbing to come and kill people. Now, nobody camps in trees. They all camp in the waterfall, which is impossible to get up when their are 10+ people on it. This is due to the fact that going up water is slower then vines, and they can see all of the zombies coming up because the zombies are only coming from one side. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Community Most of the people who play infection have left. @gianni024 hasn't been on in a while, and I haven't seen people like @Princess and @5DollarBillMC2. These were all players that were very active, but then Infection broke down. Now, all the fun people are gone, and we are stuck with people that are jerks to people that are lower then them, the people who call "Hacks" every time someone kills them, and finally the one that just chats and hardly plays the game. Maybe with better perks, maps, and more creativity, more people would come back to Infection to make it a funner and better place for everyone. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Kits This section is short, but to the point. A couple of kits should be balanced a tiny bit. For the most part, they are good, but mostly for the higher leveled people. Premium - Instead of having 5 experience bottles in the kit /premiumxp, have 10. The upgrade to sponsor will not change from 10-15, but both kits will have 10 experience bottles. The reason for this is because that 5 experience bottles doesn't get you 3 full levels as a Recruit, and at least 10 bottles will you get you at least to Private. Sponsor - For kit sponsor, I believe you should perk up the kit a little bit. It is currently Diamond boots, Iron helmet, chestplate, and leggings, and a Iron sword Knockback 1 *It might be sharpness 1*. I believe that you should make the sword a little better, maybe knockback 2 or sharpness 2? (It might be a little too OP, but at least it will be worth 10 dollars.) -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Prestige Arrangement Well, this is a topic not a lot of people talk about. Its the arrangement of the prestiges for the server. It currently goes like this: Prestige 1: Projectile Protection 1 Prestige 2: Blast Protection 1 Prestige 3: Protection 1 Prestige 4: Fire Sword Prestige 5: Sharpness Sword Prestige 6: A single Egg Prestige 7: Bow and 1 arrow Prestige 8: 2 arrows and a bow Prestige 9: 3 arrows and a bow Prestige 10: 4 arrows and a bow (Sorry If I messed up any of the kits) Well, as you can see, Infection is mostly good with the prestiges, but there is one little change that would be really helpful. Switch around prestige 1 and 2. The reason is that Projectile protection helps more in infection then blast protection. One of the main weapons in Infection is a Bow. Projectile Protection helps take away damage from the bow. The only thing Blast Protection helps with is airstrikes. You are getting a great boost when you get prestige 1, but when you get prestige 2, you are loosing a lot of protection with zombie armor -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Conclusion So, thats my thread. -_- prestige 8 and 10 are glitch. and have you ever heard of "loss of interest". Btw, new maps are comming ;) and I haven't seen people like @@Princess and @@5DollarBillMC2. Forget princess, but I known for a fact that 5Dollars egg spam xD, and I did see him last week thou. just do /seen. I cri to see so many ppl complaining about infection. You do know I suggested for infection to become what it was in the past? Also, on Jungle, zombies can easily dodge arrows (Its slow-mo duh). I like infection you know. Don't spoil it. On the nuketown part, I kind of agree, but it does eliminate campers from sticking in one place showing off their OP bows. Its okay, its actually great cause there's more pvp happening... hmmm about those donors who always uses kits... hmmm *cough* toheed *cough*. But yeah, infection is great how it is right now.
Those aren't the real problems with Infected now, I think these are in my opinion. I do agree with the Nuketown part though. If you were on a long, long time ago, you would have been online when the water tower on Jungle was already there. I joined a year and a half ago on my brother's account and BAM. Water tower. It was awesome, but that isn't the problem with Jungle. The problem with Jungle is that the vines are broken on some trees, and that underneath the map near the water tower are just random lines of water where humans can camp. Carnival also has a problem with it. Underneath the boat is a small space, and the water used to be one block deep so people could fall underneath it into the void if they failed to stay afloat. Now, this is pretty self-explanatory.. It would be fun to have these doors back. I do agree Nuketown is a total disaster. I liked the old nuketown before it got griefed, like when you had to get boosted up onto the bushes and stuff. Underneath Towers near the lava are just random lines of water and vines, where a lot of people camp in and can't be killed or found, due to the fact that a lot of people do not know about it. No, the Sponsor kit is sharpness one, not knockback one. Supreme sword has the first knockback on it, I believe. Anyways, the person who bought the rank should have read what the rank gives you on Infection before ranking up. Honestly, those ranks aren't worth a lot of money, and the player should know that if it's pretty cheap that they won't get a lot of good stuff. In my opinion, VIP is a good starter rank. Btw, Gianni was here yesterday And I did not spend 40 minutes + on Infection collecting this information for NO reason. I hope you read this.
I know it was how it already was, I just don't like it :/ I used to be so excited to go into the house once I got an airstrike and now it's just not the same :P And yeah, I mean the water problems need to be fixed. I understand it was by accident, but it isn't fun when the only humans left on Towers are in the water and they just hit you with arrows over and over so you can't get them.
