Introduction: So this idea has been suggested before, but it didn't go into great detail. Party games is basically when there are multiple minigames after each other, gaining points whenever you get first, second, and third. The person with most points at the end of the party games is the winner. Point System: 1st Place: 5 points 2nd Place: 3 Points 3rd Place: 1 point. Anyone below third get 0 points. 1st Game: Stacker - This minigame is a game with a randomized floor. The floor is different types of blocks, such as diamond, gold, emerald, redstone, etc. There are 8 players, each spawning in a corner and the middle of a side, spawn 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc. After the players are warped into the game, there is a 10 second period where you are unable to do anything. This will be the period to analyze the game field, and your opponents. After the game starts, in the chat, it will say The Block to stack is: (Block). After this is stated, the players run around the field trying to pick up 10 of the block called. After someone gets 10 blocks, they get a point. The first person to get 5 points wins. The game will keep going until someone achieves the goal of 5 points. 2nd Game: Forger - This minigame is a game where you become a blacksmith. Everybody has their own workshop, with a 4 furnaces, a crafting table, and a chest. You are unable to leave the workshop. You have a chest full of materials to craft the thing the soldier asks for. The soldier is a villager, waiting to the side of your workshop. When the soldier asks for something, in your chat feed it will say Soldier (soldiers name) requests a (item he wants.) After you craft the thing they want, they will ask you for a new item. You will have to smelt items, craft items, and have fast reflexes for this game. Every time you give the soldier the correct item, you earn a point. First person to 10 points wins. 3rd Game: Avalanche - This game will take some coding, but it is quite fun. Each person starts in a glass cage, on the ground. When the game starts (5 seconds after you are teleported in), the avalanche starts. Behind you, starting 15 blocks away, is a wave of snow and ice. You must complete a difficult parkour course to get away from the avalanche. If you are caught by the avalanche, or you miss a jump, you are "dead" and the chat will say (Players Name) has died! The game will keep going until one person is left. 4th Game: Ultimate Race - This game is just as it sounds - a race. You will start in a quartz box with a window, 1x2. When the game starts, you will leave the box and compete in several different races. First, you do a parkour. Then, Horse racing. Then pig racing, minecart racing, boat racing, and lastly a 50 block sprint while dodging knocking pistons. After each race, there is a portal leading to the next race. After each person finishes the race, the chat will say (Players Name) has completed the (type of race they completed). At the side of the screen it will show the order of people who are ahead or behind each other. If you die, you go back to the last checkpoint, which is the beginning of the race you were on. For example, If you die on the boat racing, you are teleported to the start of the boat racing. 1st place - 250 gems 2nd place - 100 gems 3rd place - 50 gems Hope you guys like this suggestion!i
I would really like this, this seems like a lot of fun. Questions How long will each minigame take? How long would the whole party game session be overall? Since I've seen your plot, I know you didn't mention if there was pvp or not.
Each minigame will take until you reach the end, or gain the necessary points. The party games will take until all games are completed, or 30 minutes of necessary. There is pvp in 0 of the games, except for the ending sprint in Ultimate Race.
The problem isn't if it's a good idea or not, the problem is who's going to take the time to make this.
I see your concerns of these. But, these are really fun ideas, and could bring lots more traffic to the server.
